| University
is the city's cultural center. It is a rather large neighborhood
with more cultural and art institutions in a square mile than anywhere
else in the Midwest. With the city's premier university, Case
Western, the wonderful University
Circle area which includes the Cleveland Museum of Art and
Severance
Hall, and a cozy, beautiful Little
Italy (also known as Murray Hill) the University neighborhood is one of the best in the state.
Housing ranges from the typical Cleveland duplex-house to grand apartment
buildings, townhouses, and some compact wood-frame housing in Little Italy.
It is also pretty convenient to have the Rapid (RTA) Red-Line running
through.
Lakeview Cemetery, one of the finest cemeteries in the country, is
housed in the University neighborhood (and also Cleveland Heights and East
Cleveland). Lakeview is the home of James A. Garfield, John D.
Rockefeller, and Eliot Ness along with beautiful landscapes and gorgeous
skyline views.
