The Italian Village borders the Short North to the east and Indianola to the south. It is actually not very Italian but more eclectic, or to make it more straight-forward, it has a high concentration of homosexuals. It, along with the Short North, Victorian Village, and Harrison West neighborhoods have the greatest concentration of gays and lesbians in the state of Ohio. The architecture is mostly orange brick single family, rowhouses, and town homes. It is a beautiful neighborhood that sits cozy with the Columbus skyline looming above it.     Â
