Bexley (pop: 13,203) is an old inner-ring, traditionally Jewish suburb due east of downtown Columbus. Completely surrounded by the city, Bexley is the east side's most affluent community. The home of Capital University, the Governor's Mansion, gorgeous homes, and a fantastic downtown that is locally called Downtown Main Street, Bexley isn't the typical suburb of cul-de-sacs and bland vinyl-sided homes. It is gorgeous, old, and functional.     Â
