The famous Pro Football Hall of Fame put the city on the map while the McKinley Memorial, a beautiful monument just west of downtown, is a testament to the city's most beloved native, William McKinley. Canton, a city of 79,772 and a metropolitan area shared with Massillon of about 408,000, is a beautiful city and the county seat of Stark County. It is also Northeast Ohio's fourth largest metropolitan area behind Cleveland-Lorain, Akron, and Youngstown-Warren. The city is full of architectural gems!
