Vermilion (pop: 10,927) is a New England town, transplanted on the shores of Lake Erie. The beautiful Vermilion River holds many boats/yachts while the beach is always packed. Ice cream parlors, shops, cafes, the Inland Seas Museum, and bakeries are in Harbor Town, founded in 1837. The town is full of Victorian houses and even some Cape Cod influence along the river.
