St. Marys (pop: 8,342) is located in Auglaize County opposite Celina on Grand Lake Saint Marys. The lake was constructed as a reservoir to supply water for the Miami and Erie Canal which cut right through downtown St. Marys. Today, the city still maintains the former canal bed providing a unique small town cityscape.
