Wauseon (pop: 6,847) is the county seat of Fulton County (one of the "newest" counties in Ohio), near Toledo. Interestingly, Wauseon is in the same county where the "famed" Toledo War occurred, a battle between Ohio and Michigan over the positioning of the state line. The state border now exists seven miles north. Wauseon has an active downtown and is quintessentially Midwestern.
