Philadelphia (pop: 1,517,550), the City of Brotherly Love, is Pennsylvania's largest city. The metropolitan area of about 6.4 million is the home (or the cradle) of American civilization. Along with Boston, the city shares numerous American historic sites including the famous Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, and Society Hill. The city is the cultural hub of eastern Pennsylvania with a heavily vibrant City Center (not "downtown") and has tasty cheesesteak hoagies (not "subs"). Philadelphia is a beautiful city with a gorgeous park system (including the famous Fairmount Park) and the architecture is top notch. Behold, the city of the cracked bell.
