Bellefontaine (pop: 13,609) is a gorgeous county seat located in Southwest Ohio's most northern county, Logan. A beautiful courthouse, a gorgeous Second Empire fountain (thus, "Beautiful Fountain" in French), the interesting Holland Theater, and even an oddity, the Coffeepot, call Bellefontaine home. Bellefontaine is the home of Campbell Hill, Ohio's highest point at 1,549ft. along with the Zane Caverns, Mad River Mountain Ski Resort, Indian Lake, and the Piatt Castles. Oh, and America's First Concrete Street (built in 1801) is in town.
