College Hill is a neighborhood of relaxation. The gaslamp and tree-lined streets provide a wonderful backdrop for a jog, playing with the kids, or just enjoying a wonderful summer day. One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, College Hill was one of the city's first "get away" from traditional Eastern American architecture meaning this is where the big lawns and single family housing began. With soul food restaurants, coffee shops and stores along Hamilton Avenue, College Hill is a diverse neighborhood of whites, blacks, and Asians primarily. Â
