Southwest Ohio
Southwest Ohio is interesting. The home of two of the state's largest cities and various other mid-sized cities along with classic small towns, hilly terrain, scenic rivers, and wonderful amusement parks, Southwest Ohio is a beautiful and unique part of the state. The home of America's first large city west of the East Coast, Cincinnati, and the Birthplace of Aviation known as Dayton along with various other cities, Southwest Ohio is an excellent blend of urban areas with hills, ravines, lakes, forests, and even Native American burial mounds. The most famous burial mound would be Serpent Mound, located in Adams County. From the rowhouses and river city life of Cincinnati to the gorgeous town square and courthouse of Troy, Southwest Ohio is a place for urbanites and nature lovers alike.
