Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Well I know people have been chattering about rumors of a new hotel on St. Clair; I came across this on a google search for "Cleveland medical mart hotel"... looks pretty sleek if you ask me. The website said something about Westin but it was in Flash so I couldn't just grab the text:

I understand your frustration, but please - do not EVER just hand over the rights to your photos to anyone, much less to the proprietors of that rag.

Moving to Cleveland with a dog
Welcome to the forum, and from what you've described - and from what I gather from friends in both neighborhoods, I'd recommend Little Italy or Cedar-Fairmount.

Great to hear, but since it's not an official announcement, let's keep the discussion in "Random Developments". Once it's official we can give it its own thread.

2010 US Census: Results
If we were talking about someone without a history who was simply expressing an opinion, I'd be inclined to agree. However, "I Went West" has been a troll on this forum (and others) for quite some time - both before and after his relocation. Most of his posts revolve around just how terrible things were for him, and now how much more wonderful his life has become since moving away, and projecting his reality as though it should be gospel for everyone. If he could express those sentiments without belittling Clevelanders with the same broad brush, he wouldn't be getting flack. Oh - where I come from, the phrase is "don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya." With that, let's get back on topic.

^Agreed. It's not like the city can request that a grant from U.S. Fish and Wildlife directed via ODNR's Division of Watercraft be applied to patching potholes (though god knows it'd be nice if they could).- Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Just an all-around great article filled with good news - I'm really happy to see the mention of the Campbells - genuinely wonderful people who believe in this city, and my god... the peanut-butter-cup popcorn and what I call "crack on a stick" (pretzel rod rolled in caramel, dark chocolate and cinnamon-sugar).- Youngstown - 03/01/11
So far, so good - prayers, crossed fingers, incantations or plain old positive thoughts are always appreciated. :-)- Youngstown - 03/01/11
Not many photos, but this was anything *but* a fun photo-taking trip: Heading back to Cleveland after a long, long day: Special thanks to the incredible people at St. Elizabeth's in Youngstown:- Cleveland: Downtown: Euclid & 9th Tower / Schofield Building Redevelopment
Ehhh, I see why people might read into that as an insult but did we feel the same way when they announced Flats East Bank was getting an aLoft versus a full-on W Hotel? Would we prefer that the guy lie and say "sure, Cleveland is the perfect place for a hotel that needs to charge >$400 a night at 95+% occupancy all year round"?- Spring Break - NYC
