Photography/Photoshop tips and tricks?
Since you're in Cleveland, I'd recommend Camera City in the Caxton Building on Huron for larger prints. I usually walk in and drop off a disc. http://cameracityaudio.com/

CLEVELAND - sweet, sweet misery
Thanks everyone, I'm glad you've enjoyed them :-) That's the Korean Catholic church in Tremont. More specifically on West 14th Street, north of Kenilworth.

Oh it's just a news site, you're not expecting accuracy are you? ;-)- Cleveland: Random Development and News
"Currently the biggest tennant in the building has to lease several floors across the street in North Point Tower to accommodate its staff." I wasn't aware of that; I thought it just needed retrofitting for energy savings, but interesting to know!- Cleveland: Random Development and News
Related to the potential recladding of the Federal Building, from wkyc.com: http://www.wkyc.com/news/local/news_article.aspx?storyid=131162&catid=3 "The federal government wants to install a new energy saving exterior on the Anthony J. Celebrezze Federal Building in downtown Cleveland. Pricetag: $121 million. But LaTourette said discussions are underway to replace the building with a new skyscraper that meets security requirements, and doesn't cost a whole lot more. "The price tag for that was $140 million and was the highest I've seen so far," said LaTourette."- Cleveland skyline. Post your pictures!
Looks like someone checked out the former Coast Guard station!- Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
I don't see anything on their website mentioning it, so who knows - the guy running it seems really nice. What I do know is I went a few weeks ago to pick up some cards. Both Room Service and duoHome (neighboring stores) had hours posted - along with "winter" hours so even though they weren't open, I knew when I could come back. Kitsch City? Nothing - no hours posted at all. Retail 101 - if your customers don't know when you're open, you can't blame them for going elsewhere.- Cleveland: Cleveland Museum of Art Expansion / Renovation
Just kidding - glad to see it progressing :-)- Off Topic

Horrifically expensive cost of living - especially when compared with Ohio. Incredibly isolated compared with Ohio - if you like LONNNG flights, it's a great fit. Substantially less opportunities jobwise in most fields... I could go on :-)- CLEVELAND - sweet, sweet misery
^I'll take a few parking garages over a few dozen parking lots any day, especially if they have 1st floor retail. :-)- Pet Peeves!
Yeah, I thought that went out with foosball tables in the lunchroom.- Pet Peeves!
Any company that asks things like "please write an original poem about your last position" on their job application site.- Show a pic of yourself!
It was the beads; otherwise he'd have said "yo yo diggity dudez" or whatever the kids are saying now.- Happiest States: Hawaii Moves Into First Place, Ohio 47th
You miss my point - I wasn't saying I have a goal to move there, I was saying that I've been there and can at least *get* why people would want to move there. Just like I've been to Phoenix and while I have no desire to live there, I can say that I've seen enough to know why some people find it appealing. Don't get me wrong - Honolulu - big city next to gorgeous beaches just a short drive from jaw dropping scenery (and that's just Oahu) is as good as it gets in my book, until you factor in career potential, cost of living, etc.- Cleveland ships.
This is really a great thread - I think a trip on the Goodtime III during ideal weather could de-jade the most bitter Clevelander, and I just love watching the huge ore freighters navigate the Cuyahoga - you haven't lived until you've seen that, imho. Jim S., I'll ask around and see what I can find for you.- CLEVELAND - sweet, sweet misery
"Can anyone tell me what Cleveland-based companies (pre- and post-merger) owned this rail line and where the rail line went?" Something tells me that Rockefeller/Standard Oil was involved - beyond that, I'm clueless.- CLEVELAND - sweet, sweet misery

I'd been taking photos here and there as weather permitted, but recently we had some obscenely gorgeous (but chilly) days so I managed to get enough together for another set.
