Okay, I’ve been to Brick and Barrel once, but it was post-show after Alicia Keys at Nautica when we decided to walk a bit to get a better chance at a Lyft ride home. It ended up being a 2.5 mile bar crawl/walk from Nautica to home 🤪 I recall the beers on tap were lovely and service was great and a cool vibe. Anyway, for some reason🍻 I don’t recall what the food situation is there and as someone who proudly eats their feelings, and as my husband learned very early in our relationship, DO NOT EVER LET ME GET HANGRY. I’m not a picky eater at all but I didn’t see anything resembling a standard food menu - am I not looking in the right spot?

Wasn’t sure how the pics would look from the mirrorless camera so took a few with the phone.

I live in Tremont and as is the usual morning routine, Her Most Exalted and Serene Magnificence (my Pug) took me on her usual preferred route to visit her favorite comfort stations and read every. single. pee-mail. Well, then she decided to go a little further north and I happened to see some super cool atmospheric lighting. Gave Her Magnificence her Royal Morning Feast and bolted out the door with camera in tow.

I think either could work but prefer closer to downtown.

Thanks to heavy traffic on the Innerbelt, ended up taking the Lorain Carnegie bridge, and NO, my husband still wouldn’t stop in the middle of the road so I could get better pics. 🤷‍♂️

Just guessing but from my experience, anything like mechanical floors above the usual habitable are accessed by stairs. For example, the interior of the pyramidal crown of Key Tower is composed of six mechanical floors.

Having attended this year’s MAICON (Marketing Artificial Intelligence Conference), I can say there is just as much effort surrounding the ethical and legal implications as there is the “shiny new thing”. Just like when the internet first started, it was a lot of Chicken Littling, handwringing and gnashing of teeth. People who work in roles that largely involve repetitive, tedious tasks *should* be worried - here’s a good clip of “thinking vs. thunking”. Creative/thinking is not something AI can automate.

Well, in the spirit of "be the change you want to see", if there's anything we (the forum) can do to help, please let us know - that goes for any of you talented folks who share your rendering talents, etc. I can confidently say that few other forums are fortunate to have active members who contribute such super-cool material. If that means emailing whoever/wherever, let us know and we will muster the UO Horde 🙂 I say this because back in the day (1997 to be exact), there were websites about architecture/skyscrapers in Chicago, NYC, and a handful of other cities but nothing about Cleveland. I figured what the heck, take some photos with a Minolta film camera no less - if the guys at Camera City in the Caxton building had a boat or a vacation home, I helped pay for it! 😄 There were some DIY site building platforms like GeoCities and Tripod so I put the five tallest buildings on with some brief descriptions. Next thing I know, I'm realizing I'm not the only dork architecture/skyscraper geek out there and got requests for more photos, info, etc. In 2000, a local tech entrepreneur came across my DIY site and suggested I secure the clevelandskyscrapers.com URL. 23 years later, I'm still collecting nominal royalties from a book deal and that photo I took on a lunch break has racked up tens of millions of views in over 170 countries, and I ended up meeting the cast in Cleveland and on set in LA (sooo many stories about the whole thing). All because I'm a shameless geek about this stuff - so as I said, whatever we can do to help, let us know. It's gratifying to see the younger generations appreciate what us X'rs have known for quite a while.
