Cleveland: Demolition Watch
If I did it right, you're welcome :-) And as with all of these overzealous demolitions, I have to ask - where are the Cleveland Restoration Society? Or do they only care about someone getting approval to replace their carriage house windows in Shaker Heights, or attending a snoop at the annual gala?

Sherman, that reminds me of something I saw last week in my neighborhood (near the Christmas Story house) - three Mini Coopers (ivory, red and yellow) in a row. They all had reindeer "antlers" and the front car had a red nose. :?

Yeeeeah, Jared seems like an absolute hoot - a "zany" vegan whose guilty pleasure is eating honey, and the guilt comes from the fact that honeymaking might involve bees?

Cleveland: 2009 Mayoral Election
Let's see... "Cleveland Mayoral Race 2009"... can we keep it on topic? Or should I just go ahead and lock this thread permanently since everyone is talking about anything BUT the Cleveland Mayoral Race of 2009, even AFTER I tell you guys to get back on topic?

Flag Wars
And in 2009, it will be the same in Cleveland - a coalition of African-American hypocritical bigots bible-thumping pastors are plotting to overthrow the city's recently enacted domestic partner registry.

My first thought is that everyone can have a nice cup of STFU and keep the thread on topic.

I'm guessing Jolly is at least 10 years old - our Emma is 9 and she has a smidge of grey in her face. Jolly has quite a bit more than she does. My partner has said he's *never* heard of a "new bone" growing on a pug. Sometimes they have to have work done on their hips, but that's common for the breed.

Tremont/Downtown basically have a dusting to an inch or so. It's about 10F at the moment, so black ice is an issue where the salt isn't effective. However it's supposed to warm up tomorrow: From wkyc.com: Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, few flakes or a wintry mix possible by the afternoon, then switching to all rain. Temperatures rising in to the upper 30s.

It's insane. They've gone through like 6 pugs in the past 20 years. These dogs keep having epilepsy, narcolepsy, every other 'epsy under the sun. They're always on breathing machines, IVs, taking steroids, having an altered diet, etc. Now Jolly just grew a new bone in his back that is pinching his nerves?! Their pugs are such high maintenance and they insist on having them. I want to tell them they need to just get a golden lab or something when Jolly dies. They don't need the added stress of dealing with dog health issues. Granted pugs are a more high-maintenance breed but that sounds like there's more to the story. Yes, they have breed-specific health issues but it sounds like their vet is getting kickbacks. How old is Jolly?
