Unfortunately no - but I also forgot to mention a benefit of taking one of my people with you when you're shopping - we'll be honest when you ask us "does this make my butt look big?!?". If your hubby/fiance/boyfriend said "yes" to that question, he'd be spending a week pulling the hanger out of his eye socket!

"My biggest Pet Peeve is when gay men try to steal a straight mans wife." Hey now! Mind you, I'm a "purebred" of my people and thus have no interest in stealing anyones' wife. However: 1. Instead of dragging YOU along to go shopping, she can take us - and we'll help her pick out clothes that make her look hot, and make you look more handsome. She feels attractive + you look better = a hot time in the old town tonight. 2. Whenever she wants to go out dancing to music that you find incredibly annoying, instead of dragging you to some meathead club on West 6th, she goes out with us to one of "our" places where she'll have a great time, get her dancing on, and be surrounded by lots of put-together men with their shirts off. Did I mention that not a single one of them will hit on her? We'll probably ply her with some drinks - so at the end of the night, she's all worked up and slightly tipsy. Once again - a hot time in the old town tonight.

"one that has really got me twice in the past few days is people who feed pigeons" Ohhhh, don't get me started - I don't care if it's some "little old lady", you feed the rats with wings - you're vermin in my book! :whip:
  4. "Um, please note in the last image MayDay posted that ramp which makes all of that unnecessary -- if you are coming from the West Shoreway/West Third. I referred to the ramp in my description above. That ramp is visible in MayDay's aerial, between the last red arrow and the green highway signs bridging the Shoreway." True, but: 1. It comes up on you really fast, especially if you're not familiar with the layout. 2. Most people presume that it's right by East 9th, when it's a good distance *before* it. 3. Most people who try to slow down to 20mph on the Shoreway get run off the road. 4. Most people who try to slow down to 20mph and then merge/yield to the two lanes of accelerating traffic (note the orange lines) trying to get on the Shoreway will see their lives justifiably flash before their eyes. Thus, my recommendation for the slightly longer but sans hairpin curves, scary merges, etc. Mind you, if it's late at night without traffic (and Amtrak stops late, right?) the shorter route would be a lot easier and much less scary. :-)
  5. Very much so!
  6. Why are all the great reads so poorly formatted? :?
  7. SONOFAB!TCH!!!! :x Continental adds $15 fee for FIRST checked bag Posted by rroguski September 05, 2008 10:49AM Continental Airlines passengers flying economy class will now pay $15 for their first checked bag. The fee, aimed at defraying rising fuel costs, starts immediately and applies to all destinations within the United States. It begins Oct. 7 for flights between the United States and Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Canada. More at cleveland.com http://www.cleveland.com/realtimenews/index.ssf/2008/09/continental_adds_15_fee_for_fi.html
  8. ^The only way to get there from the WFL is to follow the station's walkway to East 9th, then make a left out of the station, then a left onto the offramp from the Shoreway (there's a sidewalk).

    ^And I have to be an Admin of a forum of which YOU'RE a member - quitchyerb!tchin'!
  10. Talk about a prime example where visuals make all the difference... here you go, rockandroller. Here's the overall map: First and foremost, get on the Shoreway eastbound at West 3rd - or any entrance *west* of downtown (West 25th, West 45th by the Harp, etc.). Follow the Shoreway eastbound to the off-ramp for the Muni Lot - this exit is just east of East 9th Street: The off-ramp "becomes" a connector to South Marginal Road (note the parking gates for reference only). Make a RIGHT onto SOUTH MARGINAL ROAD: Follow South Marginal Road past the Muni Lot and the North Point Garage - you'll drive under a pedestrian bridge, followed by East 9th, followed by the walkway to the Waterfront Line. Just past the walkway is the entrance to the Amtrak lot:
  11. How helpful  rockandroller - it's a little convoluted, but I'll put together a group of maps together for you - give me a few minutes.

^Nope, Parma would be further to the right of St. Stephens (note the absence of the Parma antenna farm). That's the higher elevations on the east side (basically between southern Shaker and Bedford).

Nice set! Is this looking southeast, and would that be St. Stephens on West 54th on the right?
  14. ^Agreed. Everytime I have an appointment, I will happily step on the grass.

Go to Ontario - the QEW could turn a nun into a homicidal maniac for that reason alone.
  17. Sorry about the watermark, but considering how many times people/companies have used my photos for commercial purposes without permission I don't have a choice:
  18. And apparently the "aerial" of the Clinic's allee was as atrocious as the font Arial!

  20. "truly a shame and bigger embarrassment for Cleveland than a burning river..." Watch your language, young man! :whip:

That's why I said: "Don't get me wrong - it's absolutely wonderful if it's something you (the offspring) truly wants." :-)

"Show my parents before they die that our family will go on" I'm glad that my parents have never cared/worried about that. Don't get me wrong - it's absolutely wonderful if it's something you (the offspring) truly wants. It's just that I've seen so many people whose parents perpetually guilt them into the whole "when am I going to be a grandparent!?!" crap. The end results being unhappy marriages, miserable upbringings for the kids, and the occasional "oh btw kids, Mommy/Daddy's gay..." epiphany. Whatever happened to just being happy your kid is doing well for themselves, is healthy, and is being a productive citizen?!?
  23. Glad to see doctabroccoli telling it like it is to the naysayers (along with the thinly veiled urbanohio forumer) at cleveland.com!
  24. ^Actually, I think that would be a really cool thing for forumers to "see" - the entire development process of a project from start to finish - and EVERYTHING that happens with it. Unfortunately there's a lot of legal/confidentiality issues involved but I think it would help everyone understand why there's such a lag between the news article saying "Building to be built" to site clearing to site prep to actual construction.
