  2. ^Dear all Traffic Engineers, Do not blame Planners for that. Thank You.
  3. Developers looking for the quick buck from the very dumb and often times very informed, supposed, "Young Professionals" I too believe the term Young Professional is a crooked and misused term that is used as a tactic and I feel like it is belittling younger adults who have just started to live in the "real world". I am just about to venture into that myself. I am attracted to city living, maybe not right next to a skyscraper, but city yes. This project is a wash and the developer is an idiot to think that there will be any kinds of success with this project. When I think of South Lebanon, I vision, Jail and Airborne Express, maybe a few farms too.

  6. A Farmer's Market is a terrible idea at Fountain Square. Boilover you hit the nail on the head, it would take away from Findlay Market, and also, it would take one use of the streetcar away. Why would people, who live in downtown, travel (by Streetcar) to Findlay Market, if there was one at Fountain Square?...

  11. I was researching some old Plat Records for Butler County...and I notice the 1930 Plat Record of West Chester was no more than maybe a dozen streets...I think the size of the IKEA store would probably take up the size of West Chester in 1930...
  12. I saw John Cranley tonight at Jefferson Hall in NEWPORT of all places. Randy, you got my exclusive phone call about the situation. I'll have more about the evening once I go to bed and sleep off some of the beer. Sorry Randy, no spy photos on my cell phone.....I'll post more later.

  15. Swan Lake is gone, probably forever. How about naming the ride Swan's Revenge. Have some sort of evil looking Swan as a mascot. Is it even possibly to create an evil looking Swan?

  18. It has a "No Standing" sign, on a sidewalk. Yes, I heard that the old Tiger Stadium was going to be partially torn down, possibly for a condo complex?, but i am not sure about it.
  19. Do you have a direct link to that story or pictures. I can't seem to find anything pictures of any construction on the site.
  20. On campus facilities add to the college experience. IMO. It makes it feel like I "own" that or that it is mine. I get that feeling every time I walk past Nippert or Shoemaker. When visiting fans come to watch I feel like they are actually coming to my house (sorry Under Armour). Sense of pride, location and ownership adds to the campus/college lifestyle. I think Xavier is much more happier that the Cintas Center is on campus, rather than going to the Cincinnati Gardens or US Bank.

***WARNING*** You will think this song is very stupid and ridiculous, but trust me, you will find yourself humming or singing it. It will only takes days possibly hours, but you will find yourself either singing or humming this song. Enjoy
  22. Vegas has been able to reinvent itself for several decades now. I don't think anything will stop the City from growing and keeping the same atmosphere it has had for years now. Plus the proposal of having a possible NBA team or MLB team in Vegas will only make the city that much more stronger.
  23. ^I have MORALS and VALUES and I don't go to Church or believe in a higher power, also I LOVE Las Vegas. I know what it right and what is wrong. Gambling and Vegas is an obvious Taboo to American society. We all LOVE the idea about glitz, gambling and that loose fringe party atmosphere that is Las Vegas, but it falls into another case of NIMBY. "But Gambling brings in violence, crime and all the unwanteds" When I was in Vegas for about 4 days, I saw maybe one Police car on the Strip. I felt VERY SAFE. Vegas Hotels polices and governs themselves, and they do a damn good job at it. It is stupid to relate foreclosure and sprawl to Vegas like some have. This is happening in EVERY American city. Isn't growth a good thing? But sprawl is bad, wha wha wha. It is what it is. It's Las Vegas. People have to live somewhere and living in or just off the Strip wouldn't be very fun. Working in Las Vegas can be very, very rewarding. Casino dealers can make up to 80,000 a year, and they just DEAL cards to people. Bartenders, could possibly make over 100,000 a year. So why is everyone bashing Vegas? Isn't that the American way, [glow=red,2,300]work hard, play hard[/glow]? Maybe the problem with OHIO is that we are too passionate about our MORALS and VALUES, which in turn prevent us from greater opportunity.
