hey 3231 check this out... http://thebiglead.com/?p=5044
  4. That's great all this area of the city has all this new development, but I hope it doesn't follow the same trend that caused this current housing slump. By that I mean, the over saturation of homes.
  5. No coupons, no Swedish meatballs, no sidewalks, nothing...
  6. With the housing crunch and the fears of a recession, could they have chosen a better time for this press release?
  7. ^I personally do not see anything wrong with a Temp agency like this. It could possibly provide some economic opportunity to the residents of OTR. Besides, with all the new redevelopment and rehab of the area, it could be a great resource for contractors. I say this without any type of investment on Main St., so maybe I don't have some of the same fears or objections that others might. It will certainly make the street diverse, in terms of market, but is this street/area the best location for something like this?

It does. East Coast bias. ESPN is about the only thing I watch on tv, I really have never noticed any type of bias towards any team in any sport. Maybe college basketball, because of the larger amount of high profile teams in the East. I do agree that they play the Yankees and Red Sox ENTIRELY too much, but that is because of audience demand. I will try to pay more attention on how the coverage is spread (or not) out.
  9. A little info for everyone, not sure if anyone was aware of this. This past weekend I had to go to my cousin's house in West Chester for my aunt's 60 birthday party. Anyways, of course the house is in your typical 1980's sub-division; no sidewalks, no trees (very little amount) and wide roads. Back to the point of this post, all of the residents of West Chester received a mailer for detours and alternative routes, to bypass the traffic caused by IKEA.

^ESPN has bias? haha, on what? SPORTS??
  11. ^again... I understand the economic location of the West Chester IKEA, but why cant a big box retrofit into an existing structure (i.e., abandoned building in a downtown, warehouse). I, personally, would be more attracted to shop at a place like that, even if it was a big box. Big boxes are ugly, and...well I'm not getting into the Big box discussion...
  12. ^a big box is a big box is a big box, simply put.

Does anyone want an extra life? :-o Man Puts Entire Life Up for Auction Tuesday , March 18, 2008 AP SYDNEY, Australia — A painful breakup with his wife has prompted a man to put his entire life — his house, his car, his job, even his friends — up for sale online in an effort to start over. Ian Usher, a British immigrant to Australia, said Tuesday he would auction everything he owns and more on eBay starting June 22.

Should we start a new thread. Hottest cable news tv anchors?
  17. only if Google ran mass transit

I guess I will stick up for CNN, even though I hate Atlanta. I didn't watch any of the multiple cable news outlets during the past week, but for CNN, this hit close to home, really close to home. I am sure if something happened to the FOXNews studio or MSNBC studios that was similar, they would have done the same thing. I'd rather see a different news story, than having 5 stations showing me the same thing. What it a little over-kill on CNN's part, maybe, but like I said, it hit close to home.
  19. do i need a yahoo account for this? also, same question for the fantasy baseball

http://www.graffiti.org/ The site is pretty self explanatory....cool stuff though, not sure if it is all "legal" or not, but it is still good art.
  21. I have slightly paid attention to all the news about The Banks and I also haven't read through all 90 pages on this thread, but (I am sure I have seen them) have the architecture of the buildings been finalized? Does anyone have any info about that? Some potential renderings of what the buildings are going to look like? I have seen aerial and "color" renderings, but like I just said, are there any final renderings for the architecture for the development?

  23. I guess if I had those sponsors backing me, I would love sprawl and car oriented development too.
  24. Sprawling cities, stretch infrastructure, thus rising the prices for maintenance on utilities, underground pipes, over head electric wires and making cost of living overall more expensive compared to densely populated areas.
