Cleveland Cavs Discussion
OK, Gilbert's reaction is a little crazy, but I absolutely love it. I will buy several Cavs tickets next year. I will redouble my efforts to spread some of my cash around downtown.

Moving to Cleveland, working in east 9th. need reviews on nearby apt.
There is not a block in Cleveland I'm nervous in during the daytime. Even as a dude who spends almost all his time in the city, I'd be a bit nervous standing at that intersection at night, but I wouldn't worry walking by it.

Coming back to Cleveland - Advice on Neighborhoods
I agree. I also don't think the Tremont-University Heights commute is that much better. I agree with the other suggestions of Shaker Sq or Cedar-Fairmont. Especially Shaker Sq.

Well, that's fair: I wouldn't recommend standing at 25th and Detroit.

It's actually $5-$7 depending on if you dip through the Flats or go around Carnegie. (If intoxicated, it's well worth going around Carnegie). And the 81 is totally fine. I would send my mother on it at 1 a.m.

Yet another moving to Cleveland post!
I'm not an expert on the neighborhood, but in general, North of Lorain and South of Bridge between 25th and 40th and so is all very good, as I understand it. It gets spottier west of 40th with some bad blocks. And the eastern part of the neighborhood near Detroit is a bit dodgy. Feel free to correct me if my perception and memory of NEOCANDO crime data is off.
