  1. Does anyone have a ballpark on monthly parking pass cost in the Cleveland Botanical Gardens area?

OK, Gilbert's reaction is a little crazy, but I absolutely love it. I will buy several Cavs tickets next year. I will redouble my efforts to spread some of my cash around downtown.

Yes. He plays once a month at the Beachland. I believe it's the last Friday of every month. He's playing next Friday: Fri, Jun 25| 9 PM (8 PM door) The Schwartz Brothers $6.00 Ballroom | All Ages www.beachlandballroom.com If anyone ever wants to do a UO gathering at a Schwartz show, I'm game.

It would be irresponsible for me not to drop by.
  10. There is not a block in Cleveland I'm nervous in during the daytime. Even as a dude who spends almost all his time in the city, I'd be a bit nervous standing at that intersection at night, but I wouldn't worry walking by it.
  11. I agree. I also don't think the Tremont-University Heights commute is that much better. I agree with the other suggestions of Shaker Sq or Cedar-Fairmont. Especially Shaker Sq.
  12. Well, that's fair: I wouldn't recommend standing at 25th and Detroit.
  13. It's actually $5-$7 depending on if you dip through the Flats or go around Carnegie. (If intoxicated, it's well worth going around Carnegie). And the 81 is totally fine. I would send my mother on it at 1 a.m.

I'm not an expert on the neighborhood, but in general, North of Lorain and South of Bridge between 25th and 40th and so is all very good, as I understand it. It gets spottier west of 40th with some bad blocks. And the eastern part of the neighborhood near Detroit is a bit dodgy. Feel free to correct me if my perception and memory of NEOCANDO crime data is off.
