  1. Soon, very soon, this transit center will be used daily. Anything less would be an embarassment for our entire city. I don't think Mallory will let that happen. He's already done an excellent job at ignoring the naysayers.
  2. Well regardless, it's a much better looking roof then the other buildings we have with the exception of the PNC tower. But, sometimes less is more. When we see this thing way up high and the lights shining on it, we just might give it some oohs and aaaahhhhs.
  3. Can't wait to see this thing finished. I think a lot of people that say the tiara is ugly will change their minds once they see the real thing.
  4. I emailed some people about the webcam so hopefully they can fix that dang thing!
  5. I'm very anxious to see how this will reshape that whole area.
  6. Your absolutely right. The actual people living there are very nice and will be more than happy to have a conversation with you. Thugs pass through from Avondale, Roselawn, and probably parts of Winton Terrace and god knows where else. Fix it up, they have no place to go. It's working;)
  7. Dustyt Rhodes reminds me of the type of zit that's really painful but you can't get rid of it because it's right under the skin.
  8. Yea streetcar tracks can be installed very quickly.
  9. ^Predicting the future seems to be their priority
  10. Very true. But isn't it great that we can walk by there and not see a mud pit? fantastic!
  11. I have a hard time believing The Banks won't be successful. All of my life I have heard people saying they wish Cincy could be as cool as Chicago or at least have something cool downtown. This is the beginning of that dream and people will go to it. We've been itching for downtown to get something that draws people there. Fountain Sq is already doing it and just imagine what the banks will do. HOPEFULLY!
  12. The problem with Dusty is he has no clue about investing for future profits. He lives in the "now" and sees The Banks as the devil. These advocates are eating their own words because once The Banks is built and the economy recovers, guess what people...The Banks will already be built and waiting to bring in the people;)
  13. This is great! hard to believe one more level up and we'll see building frames.
  14. the steel frame is built first then instead of building the interiors from the first floor up, they start from the top and work down.
  15. If that means keeping the drunks out of washington park then I'm for it:)
  16. Yea they sure are building this fast. You don't really realize how massive this thing will be in the skyline until you see downtown from Price Hill or Mt. Adams.
  17. I had no idea a Jimmy John's was even downtown lol.
  18. Awesome video. Not having this built would be super embarassing for the city. The people who don't want it need to shut their mouths.
  19. Don't worry sandpit, my bedtime is 4am too haha. Oh us night owls lol. But yea from this photo, that building should shoot right up into a great view from the stadium. That's purty darn coo.
  20. People in lower Price Hill should've known what they were getting themselves into when moving there in the first place. Shipping in Queensgate goes back generations so they can't say "oh when I was a kid it was very pretty down there like a neighborhood" I say build it because honestly, it would be pretty kickass.
  21. ^I can almost best people won't call it The Banks even when its officially named that. People will probably say "hey guys lets go down to the riverfront" same thing happens with Newport on the Levee. The majority of the people I know just call it AMC.
  22. What I like most about this project is it fills in a big gap in our skyline in certain angles. If you come down 71 you'll see it's massive shape right past P&G. I remember growing up wishing we had more highrises on the eastern part of downtown.
  23. It's been a while but have they started anything there yet?
  24. ^LOL so true.
