  1. I can actually do a rendering for you all if you want. I do futuristic city scapes all the time for fun and for video game art. Actually, I plan on doing a huge city scape of Cincinnati in the year 2300.
  2. This building fits great and looks good for Central Pkwy. I'm just glad they built something on that gigantic ugly parking lot that used to be there. It was so big it could house The Vortex lol.
  3. ^exactly. I think the momentum is so strong that it would literally take a tornado to delay everything. It also looks like the residents this time around won't be stupid enough to riot and trash their own neighborhood again;)
  4. King Kong would have to take a crap on the site for it not to be completed now. There's way too much momentum. I can't wait until we actually see buildings arising:)
  5. I bet you out of all these names being thrown around, the next generation will simply ask their friends "hey, do you wanna go down on the riverfront tonight?"
  6. wait nevermind I remember. Holy Jesus soup this is going to be awesome!
  7. Crap. Could someone post pics of the Rothenberg school because I completely forgot what it looks like.
  8. Gateway is really coming along. I can't get over how nice its all looking but yea there needs to be some kind of hip dining place there or something. Too bad Grammars isn't there! But Grammars is cool where it is. What a sweet joint.
  9. If I were them, I'd walk through OTR and really pay attention to the collumns and things on the street level storefronts. Put some pizazz into them. Great inspiration is right under their noses.
  10. ^Yea it keeps saying the server is timing out.
  11. The bottom pic is too huge and is facing the wrong way. The top one is the best model. Man that's really gonna change the skyline.
  12. Your right riverviewer. Ofcourse those riots were stupid because all of those morons trashed their own neighborhood and sent no message what so ever lol. As OTR continues to improve, it should keep away all of the outsiders that made up 90% of criminal activity down there. Yea if you compare 2001 to now, it's almost night and day. I just can't wait to see it in 10 yrs.
  13. Sanpit, I believe they said end of June/early July is when we can start seeing actual steel
  14. The momentum is finally here. Right now it's a simple snowball effect that won't stop any time soon. I think the one thing that's needed to really help it take off, even more so than the streetcar, scpa and condos is that park. Once that park gets finished then the number of new residents should sky rocket. Families love taking kids to parks and having one right in OTR is key.
  15. I like the fact they say "future rail service" as if they have enough confidence to say we'll definitely get it. I don't know about you guys but I hate reading articles when they put the word "possible" in front of what could be a cool thing to have. "possible rail line" eek.
  16. Thats a cool pic. So that's the elevator shaft. Are they building that all the way up and then constructing the rest of the building around it?
  17. Yea I just saw the new rendering of that office building from ground level. I hope there will be another design because it looks like a lego block with a basket on top lol. The storefronts and apartments look cool though!
  18. Pretty cool. Ofcourse it looks boring until we see it in real life. But we have to be thankful because this rendering is the best they've had so far.
  19. Is there a webcam for this site? if not, we should try and ask the right people to put one in somewhere.
  20. ^yea and this is literally my first time seeing the spot up close. I feel sorry for the homeless there but damn, this was at Cincy's doorstep all of these years? jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh. I can't wait until they build the park.
  21. Aerial shots of our city will be much sweeter now;) no more dinosaur excavation pit lol.
  22. well I think so many people around here were jaded of the fact that the city and hamilton county would never cooperate in anything. I think it's safe to say we're in the clearing but I kind of understand there negative views to an extent. The people who deny it will happen right now are people that like to see things fail because they themselves never experience success lol. The reason I like Mallory is because he ignores the naysayers. Looks like it's paying off;)
  23. It's funny because we all remember when this first started and we saw the two bulldozers down there. People started getting all worked up saying there wasn't enough machinary. Look at it now and it has taken a complete 180 haha.
  24. It looks great. 'Nuff said. Are there renderings for the Mercer site?
  25. That's the elevator shaft they're building first right? This fills a nice skyline gap too. I always wondered what it would be like if buildings were built in that huge parking lot in front of Edge. Ya know the one everyone uses for fireworks parking. Think it's possible?
