  1. Is there a webcam on this site like The Banks?
  2. Does anyone know if the new residents at GQ are shopping at the Kroger down there? If so, that's absolutely huge because they have to change the mindset for the people who still think that area is dangerous.
  3. So do they use some sort of electronic counter to pinpoint exactly where the holes should go? I've always wondered this. It's gotta be mapped out somehow.
  4. Cool looking building. Anyone hear rumors thats Dayton & Cincy are combining or at least are "trying" to combine to form a large Cincinnati/Dayton metropolis. Ya know, similar to what happened with Dallas and Ft. Worth? it's just that northern Cincy is booming with all the suburb crap.
  5. Thats the kind of report we like seeing^ now we just need one like this for The Banks.
  6. ^Well once they realize how friggin' cool downtown Cincy is getting, they're gonna be like "aaaaaaahhhh crap!"
  7. It's nice seeing buildings of this scale along 71 as your going towards downtown.
  8. Hopefully this will bring some competition downtown for more HQ's to move there. Cincy land is super cheap for that isn't it? btw, off topic...does anyone have photos of the building that used to be at 5th and Race?
  9. Aside from Music Hall, SCPA could benefit from this greatly. Very cool and what a kickass looking building.
  10. Yea this building is going to ultimately look taller than what everyone is imagining, including the renderings. It always works like that. Cant wait.
  11. Bah forgive my lateness...what's going in place of that barn?
  12. Now all we need are those huge boat shaped tourists buses lol. It's definitely exciting to see all the development.
  13. Very cool. I'm starting to wonder what OTR could offer as far as tourist attractions go in ther future. SCPA and Music Hall are a given. Its understandably a neighborhood but you never know.
  14. Prok your right! hahahahaha. Either that or a Dunken Donuts. Can you imagine? btw, whats Joseph Williams Home?
  15. I just can't wait until they get rid of those ugly trees right on the waterline. Hideous I say!
  16. OTR is already great but in 10 years, Easily a top 10 or 20 destination by tourists nationwide (or worldwide for that matter). Not a long shot by any means. The potential of OTR is borderline ridiculous and almost not fair for other cities lol.
  17. Sounds good. Either way I think all big projects happening downtown should be given a timeline and post that timeline somewhere for the public to see(having renderings shown etc). That way we're not all in the dark. Yea anticipation is fun, but it's nice to have an estimate once in a while. Something good better go there and I trust 3CDC not to screw it up. Fountain Square rocks now.
  18. Short Vine was hoppin in the 80's too right? It'll get back to where it was but it's going to be very different within the next 10 years. Irresponsible owners, for some reason, all migrate to a place together. It's a very strange thing indeed. One owner who's laizy finds a bunch of stores with other owners that are laizy and presto, you get crap for shopping lol.
  19. Yea if there were two or more drillers, it would be chaotic trying to move around down there.
  20. Unless that's a magical crane with a magical operator drilling 25 holes a day lol. I wouldn't worry about it. Actually you will hardly ever see more than 1 driller per site because of the space it needs. I think there's actually rules about it.
  21. Well the economic "crisis" is in everyone's heads. It's all driven by premature fear and thats it. Once people realise this, everything will be back to normal like it always is. Fear is a nasty thing. Ovation will be awesome when its actually built. Hopefully sooner than later.
  22. Is that garage also holding spaces for the next planned tower?
  23. If they green-roofed some of the Banks, that would be killer!
  24. it's structural piling used to anchor the entire Banks project into the bedrock. It keeps everything from sliding into the river.
