  10. BTW, what species of tree is Clevlenad using DT and such?? The spindaly looking tree looks very tacky and not "full" and majestic. If your going to invest in trees at least make them nice looking ones.
  11. Some cool shots...nothing at all to report on to my (limited) knowledge...
  12. Well to me it isnt quite at the level of being called a china town, maybe that can change.
  13. I think if I put one of those up in Shaker the city would have it forcefuly removed. In any event this sounds like an awesome idea that has a fair amount of earning potential. Hell, maybe this guy need some investors??
  14. I particulary loved the "weed man" float, quite alot of cheers for that one upon passing.
  15. I was there, great turn out. Biggest level of participation I heard with around 14K.
  16. Now we have that addition that is god-awful.
  17. If the renderings on top are the redeisnged building it looks gross. Owell, and talk about a 2bit website, they need some help.
  18. Those buildings are so neat, great job.
  19. Yeah the only reason I know this place is there was (is?) a little ceasars there.
  20. Yeah I had made mention of the fact its too bland for me and when I went to the event which was very cool in that it was in effect an open forum where ideas were heard by Mr. Vinoyl and feed back both frank and nescicary.
  21. Makeover planned for Cedar Center Cities uniting to revive retail Sunday, February 13, 2005 Tasha Flournoy Decades before Legacy Village transformed East Side shopping into a "lifestyle" experience, the Cedar Center shopping center was the place to be. A walking destination for nearby residents, the center brought big-city flair to the suburbs. Women picked out their favorite jewels at Berger & Silver Jewelers and found the latest fine clothing at Evelyn Bader's dress shop. Davis Bakery churned out fresh challah bread and pastries for the holidays. When lunchtime arrived, men dined on corned beef sandwiches at Corky & Lenny's delicatessen. Louis Golland, 92, opened a shoe store in the center in 1952, after picking up styles and trends in Chicago. He said storeowners gave the large Jewish, middle-class community a specialized shopping experience. "We were unique in the country. Together we molded a business that was second to none," said Golland, who once served as president of the center's merchants association. "Everybody was like family."...
  22. The thing about the CMA if you were at the meetings or listened to the video of it is those renderigns are simply massings, that is what Vinoyl said. He hasnt decided on colours or textures or other details and it is libel to change in due course. The CIM exspansion is frustrating becuase I cant find a website for the architect, Young? Also CIM website is skimpy on info.
  23. I wish they branched out arcitecuraly, pink will go out of style at some point.
