  1. That and they had thompson on diebler like white on rice the whole game.
  2. 76% from the field... thats a lot of dunks.
  3. Agree, I mean he is a Pritzker Prize winner if I am not mistaken. I just wish he (and he still may) would get an actual commission for a building... even if its not huge. (london city hall-ish?)
  4. I just saw this used in the st. pattys picture thread and I have to say, it is awesome. :speech:
  5. The Red Bull Stadium in NY is amazing here is a link for those interested to its construction thread @skyscraperpage.com http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=129467&page=5&highlight=bull
  6. Sounds like reason to believe next year will be bright. I will not pretend that I followed O.U. basketball this year so this is all news to me. All I did was google their record and I followed the MAC tourney since the finals were in Cleveland.
  7. As I read in the PD article as quoted a member of the West Side Irish Club, "If you can make it through a long Cleveland winter, the Irish will pull you out of it and usher in the Spring!" or something like that...

Probably got the pro-rated veteran minimum? Just a guess. In the ESPN article his agent says he wants to explore free agency after the season. I think if you read between the lines its more like, Cavs want/need depth at center this season especially with Shaq still recovering. They are clearing Shaqs $20million dollar salary next year and will be able to pursue Bosh or some other center which we will need. Bottom line the Cavs will not pursue Z next year but I envisage a Nomar Garciapara type deal where if he plays outside of Cleveland next year+ he will be signed to a one day contract so he can retire a Cav.
  9. Especially from three range. Highly doubt hell play PG in the league.
  10. http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?entryID=5018942&name=nba_draft&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fespn%2fblog%2findex%3fentryID%3d5018942%26name%3dnba_draft Teams have good reason to take Turner No. 1 Tuesday, March 23, 2010 | Print Entry Posted by David Thorpe Through much of the college season, it seemed that John Wall was the only guy worthy of being taken with the top pick. Some people even called this draft a "draft of one." The early calls could ultimately be accurate. But drafts rarely go as expected. While this may indeed turn out to be a draft of one, Evan Turner could end up going No. 1 overall.
  11. I would tend to agree with you, but nothing surprises me with regards to corruptness/shadiness/underhandedness (anything "ness") in this town. Your right though, most likely not... doubt still remains for me, and will regardless of "investigations".
  12. ^Without a doubt! The Vols are the gate keeper to the Final Four. Period.

Beer! To be honest it was the first time I had heard of it... excuse my ignorance!
  14. Norman Foster is a pimp, his Hearst tower is amazing not to mention the new tower in Calgary U/C... but he is being hired for "construction planning" which translates to "master plan" to me. Libeskind was hired for master planning the WTC and he sure as hell does not have anything on that site with his fingerprints on it. That being said these are different animals and what with the church "convienently" burning down they will have some more room to plan for.
  15. This is very sad and this may sound radical but I would not put it past the corporate thugs at the Cleveland Clinic to contract an arson. Call me crazy and off base and your probably right but I don't trust them. After the HB building got torn down under the radar and the fact they have been trying to buy out all these old churches... whatever. What a loss.
  16. I take it the architects can pick from a wide variety of colors ranging from pale beige to light beige. Jokes aside I always liked X's campus, looks like they are remaining true to it's roots and yet modernizing.
  17. Its one of the only places with public restrooms downtown. Every wasted tween and 20 something needs to take a leak and the amount of cops handing out "indecent exposure" tickets is enough to scare pee-wee herman.

^What happened to my response? (edit: I quoted myself, deleted) @CBC I went to this place called Melt Bar. I kid you not this place specializes in grilled cheese... those west sider's really have haute cuisine! haha jk couldn't resist. I think I'll pass on holding the hair... she had a few friends with her and they were nice so I am sure she was taken care of. To all the ladies, I use chick endearingly, no machoism here.

  20. Rebirth for a downtown Toledo building When completed in mid-April, the main floor of the 24,000-square-foot building at 8 North St. Clair Street will house the showroom and warehouse of NBS Inc., the local distributor for Steelcase office furniture. The upper floors of the three-story building will be home to Thomas Porter Architects. Trust me, me too. I had some serious momentum. Not to mention this chick was already drunk when I was with her AND it was her 21st b-day? She must have been obliterated that night. Not that I am saying that implies anything... just saying.
