^ Yeah, and the thing is he was getting paid more than Bryant was but you don't hear ESPN giving the Seahawks a hard time about it.

University of Cincinnati Bearcats Football Discussion
Well, the Bearcats lose 14-28 last night to Fresno State. Not a good way to start the season as the offense looked dazed and confused most of the night. The O-line was atrocious while giving up 8 sacks. Not good, not good at all. I'm remaining hopeful that they get things clicking soon. Especially since NC State and Oklahoma are 2 of the next 3 games.

Adams County / Brown County / Highland County: Developments and News
Well it's been awhile but most of the legalities are out of the way. I took a week long vacation and ended up spending the last 4 days working on this place. Our original plans were just to paint it and rent it but the more time I spent in it the more I wanted to change. The only place you can really tell that anything has changed is the living room in apartment 3 on the 2nd floor. Sadly I only took one before pic of that room so you won't be able to really tell a lot has changed. This is what it looked like before. Here is almost the same angle after working on it this week. Now those two are as if your looking through the entrance to the apartment. This next one is looking from the far left corner (as viewing from the first pics) toward the door and hallway. And this last one is looking from the hallway toward the exterior wall and corner of the previous pic. Now I know it doesn't look like much has been done but busting that concrete stuff off those bricks took me two days. the painting didn't take long unless you wanna include the taping of the trim. That took a while too, at least I thought it did. One thing that you can see in the pics that we are going to change is the carpet. We noticed that it has hardwood flooring underneath so we're peeling the carpet off, hopefully sometime next week. But, until next time, this is all I have for now.

Regular insulation goes a long way in reducing sound by itself too. My Dad's house doesn't have insulation between the first and second floors and you can hear everything and that would have easily changed if he would have put an actual ceiling without insulation on the first floor instead of leaving the beams and the second floors floor exposed. In the end I don't think noise is going to be a big issue at the banks. At least not from other stores, it will be the traffic that will be louder.

I'm trying to reduce the number of photo's on a page so I'll only be doing before and after shots now.

Sorry if this isn't in the right section of the forum. This is the first one I've created. Anyways, I'm part of a newly established Partnership that is buying a 3 1/5 - 4 story building in Peebles, OH. It's in pretty rough shape and is going to take a lot of work. The good news for us is that we can do most of the work ourselves. I'm going to try and update this fairly often just because I think it will be fun to watch the changes as they occur. The bad thing for me is that I live in Hamilton and am working 6 days a week right now but I'm devoted to getting this up and going so I'll find a way. These first shots of the inside were taken with my phone so they aren't very good but I'll be using the digital from now on so they should get better. This is the actual building. It's the tallest in Peebles and tallest residential in Adams County.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
Really? How does the topic change from Chad wanting T.O. signed to dissing the Bengals fans? If your not a Bengals fan then simply don't click the forum that reads "Cincinnati Bengals Discussion". That way you don't have to talk to us "putrid" fans. It's really not that hard.

I liked the pics but I wouldn't do it. Not because I'm afraid of getting caught or hurt but mainly just because I would rather be doing something else. Nonetheless, that was pretty gutsy IMO.

Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
To be honest I couldn't care less about which team has more championships or more playoff appearances. I want wins now, I don't care how good teams did in the past. And yes, I'm talking about the Bengals too (I'm a Bengals fan). This year and 2005 were nice but they are over so I'm looking at what they can do to become better (like fire Bratkowski) and get to the Super Bowl next year.

^ I agree, Jim Kelly was on 1530 Homer today and mentioned that some experienced Division I coaches have already begun asking about the job.

^ Are YOU serious? They aren't considered prestigious just because they play on tv. If that was the case then Boise State would be considered prestigious. Their football program has largely been a joke since Lou Holtz left. And I'm not saying that Notre Dame is worse than UC (though I'm sure the Bearcat players would strongly disagree with you). What I am saying is that if Kelly goes to ND and doesn't get them into BCS games then he will be considered a failure to the Irish fans. Losing isn't very prestigious.

^^ It's only prestigious if they win a lot of games. If they have a losing record they get no loving from the media. I hope Brian Kelly stays at UC but if he doesn't then I just hope the they can find another awesome coach.

What a game! The Bulls put up a good fight but just couldn't get it all rolling together in the second half. Nice win for the Bearcats and I loved hearing the commentators talking good about the Big East and Cincy.
