  1. From the article posted on Bussiness Courier, it looks like it will only be 5 floors, with the option to expand in the future if needed. So that would mean if residental is going to happen, it would be built beside the building, not on top. Am I totally missing something, or am I understanding this correctly? I still think its great news to hear that they will be expanding to 1,000 employees. That is great news for Cincy.
  2. I actually called to get information on a one bedroom here. There is currently a 75 person waiting list for a one bedroom.
  3. I am honestly just happy that this site is finally getting developed. I do wish though, like previously stated, this building would have more of an impact on the skyline. I heard today that a 20 plus story building is being proposed for covington that will include residential. One would think if covington can land a high-rise residential building, that this site could as well(or at least be able to have the current proposed element of residential in place in time for construction)
  4. Thanks everyone for clarifying the information, I just seen it and got excited that dowtown cincinnati is experiencing growth. Obviously with the banks project in full force as well as renovations happening downtown there was bound to be some growth.
  5. The chart states these est. are just for the CBD of Cincinnati, it doesn't really go into detail so these numbers can be taken with a grain of salt. I just seen this and thought id share. I'm sure its including over the rhine, which in my opinion should be included in downtown cincys population, but that's just my opinion.
  6. I came across downtown cincinnati's estimated 2009 population as well as projected population for 2012, just thought id share it. For 2009 its showing a population of 9,026 and for 2012 a population 12,452. Heres the link, I found the information on urbancincy.com http://www.urbancincy.com/2010/05/downtown-cincinnati-experiences-strong-progress-during-recession/

Has anyone heard anything about the merger of Cincinnati and Dayton metro's? I had heard that when the 2010 census results were released, that the two metros would be considered one large metro of over 3 million?
