City or Suburb
Born in Ironton, Ohio. Moved to Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA, then moved to New Jersey in a suburb of Philadelphia PA. I've lived here for 12 years and I'm getting ready to move back to Ohio but to the Lakewood area where I'll be working in Cleveland.

Age
I am <gulp> 39. In about 6 months, I'll turn 40. I didnt handle turning 30 very well (i.e. I went into hiding for a week). Dont know how I'll handle 40 yet. I dont feel almost 40. Even as overweight as I am, I'm in the best shape of my life (I've lost over 100lbs and go to the gym 4 days a week currently). So.. bring on the 40's... maybe

Along the 36th street side and if you pull in, if you see any space with the yellow lines that's not marked as "reserved for..." you can park there. Also, there's a security guard right there where you turn in, so if you need to, you can ask him.

Here are my babies... This is Fred, he's a 17 year old redhead tabby. He has the best personality. I love this guy more than I love my husband.(And I've known him longer, too). This is Bailey, more commonly known as "Bailey Jasper!" because he's always climbing on my desk when I dont want him to be there. He is the biggest lovebug and the biggest scaredy cat This is Prinnie, well her name is Princess, but we just call her Prinnie. She is another lovebug, always rolling over for belly rubs. Now this is the best picture I currently have for Lil Miss. Her name was Angel before we adopted her, but that's just not her personality. She's brown/black shorthaired tabby and she is the Mistress of the house... hence "Lil Miss". She's loves pets and sitting on my chest, but at her time, not mine. She wasnt treated very nicely as a kitten, so she's just now learning that human touch isnt all bad... This is her, leaning on a doorjam saying, "No Mama.. go 'way!"

Moving to Cleveland in July
Honestly, it was partly the townhouse itself. We're coming from a house, not an apartment, so we needed the square footage. And then the neighborhood. We arrived early and drove around between Detroit Avenue and Lake and loved the houses and people sitting out on their lawns and being friendly to the two "strangers". And also while standing outside talking with our new landlord, I liked that two of the other tenants walked by and he knew them by first name as did they. We also picked it because it's within biking distance of Rocky River Reservation. We drove through there and fell in love with the park itself.

Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
The husband and I went to Zocalo's on Wednesday night. We found the food and the service to be great compared to the Philadelphia area restaurants. Our waitress was very attentive without hovering. The food was wonderful, especially the guacamole.

Moving to Cleveland in July
We've signed a lease on a place just off Detroit Ave by Rocky River Reservation. Our move in date is at the end of July. Thank you for all your help. Has anyone heard anything about an office called The Cat Clinic? There's an office not far from our place.

Ironton, OH.....and Waverly, OH
Downtown Ironton is looking pretty worn and I hope to the powers that be that things turn around for them. The town itself, well certain areas have beautiful homes and churches, lots of trees. It's my understanding that they're currently updating the high school. Nice pictures of Waverly. The only places I've seen there are the places along 23 as I drove up to Columbus ohh and yes... South Point is the southernmost "village", Coal Grove is next, but also a village, then Ironton would be the southernmost town/city. But thanks to the ethanol plant and the industrial village, South Point is growing.
