  2. I take the fam to Capitol pretty often, it's kind of our go-to spot. Always a solid experience. We’re heading there Friday night for HTTYD. If all goes well (and it usually does), I might even post pics of a clean, non-apocalyptic, actually pleasant theater. Stay tuned.

  9. I'm not surprised La Playa is still open - we were there last weekend with a large group, and the place was packed. They do really well during the summer, both on weekdays and weekends. Most business owners along Detroit Ave (just look at Ninja City’s recent revamp) recognize that the neighborhood’s best days are still ahead. With over 1,000 new housing units being added, retailers know things are about to get MUCH busier in the near future.
