^ Plus its not like those 2 teams haven't played before. OSU always schedules in state opponents. They played Toledo this year. There;s been years in the past where MAC schools have been better than UC. Lets not forget UC and OSU have played 4 times in last 11 years with the total score being 121-52 in favor of the bucks. Bearcat fans enjoy this season and don't worry about your national perception or how UC matches up against tOSU. If you make it to a BCS game and win it everything will work itself out. BTW great win last night!

I agree it is scheduling and teams can't do anything about it but win games. Keep telling yourself rutgers and oregon st are impressive wins. Look at who those teams have played (Howard, Texas Southern, Portland St) give me a break. Going into S Fla and beating a team that actually plays defense will send a message and help improve cincy's perception to OUTSIDERS (like I said in previous post).

UC has a chance to prove to the world they belong in the top10 this Thursday. If they beat a legit team like S Fla at home that will change a lot of the perception's people have (outside of this region). As a side note the B10 from top to bottom has been down for at least 3 years. I hate michigan more than anything, but it does hurt the league big time when they're not in the top 15.

I agree. There's no reason UC can't be contenders in the Big East year in and year out. Just look at the amount of high school talent in the greater Cincy area. You have some of the best high school programs in the country to recruit from within a 15-25mi radius of campus.

Yes the Bucks are my favorite team. Im not a homer that thinks OSU is good enough to play in the NC game. Just like I don't think UC is good enough. They're both top 10 at best, not top 5. If you think the bearcats can match up w/texas, ala, or fla you're delusional. Just look at what a top 5 team like Okla (last year) did to them.

I hope that doesn't happen. I think it would be great for two teams from Ohio to represent the BCS. I just don't see either of them playing for a national championship this year.

Yeah... the AP sued.... WRONG! The BCS wanted more accuracy and consistency between the two human polls so the harris poll replaced the AP. The Harris poll consists of 100 former coaches, administrators and players, plus media members. It's a group that has more knowledge of college football. Most AP voters are hacks and regional loyalists Check out Doug's votes from the peedee and you'll see why I pay no attention to the AP poll. There's a reason the AP poll was thrown out of the BCS formula.

UC is ranked higher in the AP poll not the coaches. The BCS poll hasn't even been released yet. Until that comes out I wouldn't be worrying too much about where tOSU or UC is ranked. I don't know why this has turned into a bucks vs bearcats discussion. Can't everyone be happy that 2 teams from Ohio are ranked in the top 10? I am........Also the team from up north is out of the top 25 where they belong.
