  2. Check this out...Sam must've changed his mind because he just officially listed his parcels (A,B,C,D,1) which consists of the Big Egg and a couple other nearby lots. Know anyone w/3.6M laying around?
  3. It's a good thought and you'll be happy to know that county merger/regionalism discussions are picking up steam behind the scenes at the county level. The region has two choices: 1) merge and succeed/grow or 2) continue its failed fiefdom approach and become even less relevant/competitive A shrinking county CAN NOT sustain the following: 13 municipal Courts 33 school districts 59 municipalities 72 police departments 110 fire stations 479 elected mayors, trustees, city and village council members 1,413 school buses
  4. On the bright side, a clothing store has already filled Fount's space. Hope you and friends/family go and support them!

This stuff has been percolating since the Bush Era; we all forget the institutionalized racism, the idiocy, and the cronyism because it was overshadowed by what was to come. The backlash may have opened the door for a historical first like Obama. But now everyone thinks of Bush as a sweet old Grandpa who does paintings of his feet. Bush left the Republican party weak, which I celebrated at first, until I saw the power vacuum filled up with Maga.
  6. Plans to replace RTA’s rail fleet expected to accelerate in new year CLEVELAND, Ohio – For three years, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority has been promising that a new rail fleet is coming, but it hasn’t been able to secure all of the funding it needs or lock in a contractor to move the project forward. That is expected to change next year, Floun’say Caver, RTA’s chief operating officer, says. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2022/12/plans-to-replace-rtas-rail-fleet-expected-to-accelerate-in-new-year.html

The market is irrational though, and will react to seeming contrary data to it's benefit or detriment.

Big Oil agrees. PS. inflation has been directly linked as being 52% caused by corporate profits. Normally corporate profits are around 10-15% of inflation costs. Source: https://www.epi.org/blog/corporate-profits-have-contributed-disproportionately-to-inflation-how-should-policymakers-respond/
  19. LOL. Actually one of the two demoed houses is owed by my investment team. We just happened to use the same contractor as Sam. I'm not sure any deal can get done with him. We tried negotiating w/him last year but things turned sour after he threatened to hit one of my partners in the head with a baseball bat.
  20. Not sure what this guy is thinking but this certainly isn't the news we wanted to hear. The timing of this listing makes a lot more sense now: https://www.howardhanna.com/Property/Detail/5015-5017-5019-Detroit-Avenue-Cleveland-OH-44102/NorthernOH/4419897

  24. I'm sure MM employee's living on the eastside will appreciate their commute now doubling in some cases. Do posters on here realize traffic is worse getting to suburbs via 480 and 271 than it is driving into downtown on most days?
