Annexations will happen due to necessity, just have to wait out the boomers.

I wouldn't oversell it either. I have friends in phoenix considering a move back here due to the extreme heat. They can't even run outside at 4am in the summers anymore. Energy costs for cooling is another drag, and the water situation sure as hell ain't getting any better out west. But sure, go whine and complain over three chilly months.

Cleveland: Population Trends
Two weeks ago we hosted a family in the process of relocating here from Nashville. The wife recently accepted a job with SHW downtown and her hubby does web design remotely. First impressions were they were blown away by the city, park system and also couldn't believe we have beaches! Before leaving town they put in an offer, which was accepted, on a new build in Battery Park. It's so friggin' cool meeting people from all over the country and hearing such positive feedback.

Cleveland: Filling in Euclid Avenue
Yeah, I guess I just realize there are many other ways to support TC without putting my long-term health in jeopardy. LOL

They won't compete with each other but so what if they did? Competition is good for the market and consumerism as a whole.

Cleveland: Filling in Euclid Avenue
Food courts still do not compete with food halls - because they're different! I would never ever think about going to Tower City's food court even though I live 8min away. However, I've driven 25min to meet friends at the Van Aken food hall, on numerous occasions. Food Halls most commonly have alcohol, food courts do not. Another huge difference. This is a unique concept to downtown and will not compete with what's already there.

Cleveland: Filling in Euclid Avenue
I did. Neither are relevant or similar to an actual food hall. Maybe try googling food court vs food hall. also 5th street arcades is doing just fine. Is your logic that since something (even tho diff) didn't work in the past, we should never try it again? Brilliant.

Cleveland: Filling in Euclid Avenue
Even if you believe the concepts are the same, which they're not, there's still a good amount of variables to consider. Is the Galleria actively trying to fill their vacancies with food vendors? No. Is the Galleria located near a heavily populated section of downtown? No. Are there a thousand new units about to break ground within a 1-2 block of radius of Euclid Grand? Yes

Neither of those are good examples of food halls
