  1. Thoughts on this? Should rental costs follow wages, or should wages following housing $?
  2. ^ Congrats, and double congrats on a wise investment! That sect of the neighborhood has soooooo much potential and room to grow, there is no doubt about it. It's going to be a lot of fun to watch that area over the next 3-5yrs.
  3. Next time keep heading west on Clinton to w74th - that part is just as nice.
  4. You should probably mention these are temporary measures.
  5. Yes, and why does that matter?
  6. People don't even need a home office anymore. I am happily working from the couch with laptop by my side, and my wife is sitting at our island with hers. There's nothing wrong with wanting more space, but I think that is becoming less and less true for most people overall. I would say 60-70% of my newest neighbors in Gordon Sq are ex suburbanites who were looking to downsize.
  7. It obviously wasn't a very clear point or factual point. If I am living in a 300' apt, I'm going to be outside MORE. Sheltering place doesn't = being inside 24/7. We'll never agree on this because we don't think alike. His points might be true for him and you, but not for a lot of younger people like me and many others I know.
  8. Your logic seems off....Why can someone leave their house, but not their 300' apartment? Your first premise is bunk so I didn't even bother reading points 2 or 3.
  9. Fed chair says this is the worst economy in history How bad is the coronavirus economy? The worst ever, says Fed Chairman Jerome Powell. "We are going to see economic data for the second quarter that is worse than any data we have seen for the economy," Powell said. "There are direct consequences of the disease and measures we are taking to protect ourselves from it." https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/us-coronavirus-update-04-29-20/h_20ffee0c7ad410075e8110c32442527c
  10. And you're worrying/arguing about something that has less than a 0% impact on you. Another Trump move, get it.
  11. Everyone knows NEO runs the state - make it official!
  12. Do you have any examples of secondary cities getting less money and resources? Like I said, pointless.
  13. Yeah, so why not regionalize and potentially have access to a greater pool of money and resources? Gary and Akron aren't alike in any way, so no use comparing them. It's silly and pointless.
  14. Wow. So, Gary and Bridgeport were booming right before they merged into new MSA's? Who knew?!?
  15. If Akron were to be included into Cleveland's MSA nothing would change, literally. Sure, the area's populace might benefit from regionalism and additional federal dollars, but we shouldn't do it because someone's feelings might get hurt. Got it.
  16. This post reeks of someone living in trollville. If everyone ignores him he'll scurry back to his hovel under whichever Kentucky bridge he came from.
  17. LOL - you know, no one is taking you seriously, right?
  18. I wasn't insulting you, you're level of math is elite stuff.
  19. Damn guy, you're pretty smart knowing how % work and all.

  21. This plan was approved over a year ago and she knew they were moving by late fall. Nothing was official so the manager was most likely following company protocol by not discussing future real estate plans with customers.
