  1. Nope, they are passed that phase. DF2019-010 - Azure Mixed-Use Development New Construction: Seeking Schematic Design Approval Project Location: 5700 S. Marginal Road and 5500 N. Marginal Road
  2. ^ It's going thru the schematic review so i'd say this is pretty damn active.
  3. Overall point taken, but acting like you can tell if a city is booming or not by an overnight visit in Feb is quite humorous.
  4. This isn't one year..The chart shows Columbus' drop starting in 2014 and continuing on until at least 2017.
  5. ^ 9 floors is a big reduction...You're talking about 120' or so. And what if they don't find a large office tenant?
  6. 26 stories is still meh when compared to the original 35 stories. Especially when you consider the current blah design of the building.
  7. ^ right, so most likely smaller than 26, if it even gets built.
  8. Wow the dispatch article says it's now only 26 stories. That's even more disappointing. By the time construction starts up it'll probably be reduced even more.
  9. ^ Some of the hotels also include condos.

  13. ^The Edison isn't in Battery Park.
  14. Yeah, that's b/c no one could park there. They turned that lot into a pregame block party for various bars, same as Monday night for the HR Derby.

  16. It's definitely not a bad thing, I was just stating my experience was quite different. I met a lot of visitors who were in town for the game enjoying edgewater, WSM, etc...
  17. I saw tourists all over Ohio City and Gordon Sq the past couple of days/nights...I think your sample size was a little too small to base any real opinions or concerns about.
  18. I get it's easy to think like that, but these two projects aren't remotely close to being comparable
  19. Gotcha, I just assumed everyone knew those were never intended to be taken at face.
  20. ^ I was just responding to his original post about the laneways not even happening.
  21. I dunno, man. Looks like the same to me: http://planning.city.cleveland.oh.us/designreview/drcagenda/2019/03152019/index.php
  22. Says who? It still shows the laneway concept on their latest brochure: https://starkenterprises.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Property-Flyer-nuCLEus-2019.pdf
  23. Ok, Allard....
  24. Buyer beware as these are just prelim numbers for May, but if the report is accurate, Cleveland is at a 10yr high for total # of jobs (nonfarm): https://www.bls.gov/regions/midwest/oh_cleveland_msa.htm
