Let’s be honest... Columbus likely accounts for most of that, with Cincinnati second. I doubt we’ll see any major surprises. Columbus’ metro will have passed Cleveland, but other than that, same story as it’s been for a while. Things will change over time, they always do..

^ Excellent job! If I didn't have to work I would just stare at renderings of our future skyline for days on end.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I Just sent mine. Also cc: [email protected] & [email protected] Michael, As a resident of Ohio City (W32nd and Franklin) I wanted to voice my support of this development. I heard about your comment from today’s meeting about how you receive a lot of emails questioning the need for this project. I wanted to let you know that you’re hearing from a very small, but vocal group of people that are set against everything. This is exactly the type of development Cleveland sorely needs and has been lacking for decades. Don’t you want Cleveland (and the county) to grow again? I do, and so do hundreds of my neighbors that didn’t know we had to email council members to show our support. If you don’t encourage developments such as this, young people like myself will continue to leave our region. Please reconsider your position on Church and State. Kind regards,

Cleveland: Downtown: The Beacon
Friendly retort here... I actually think more volume is needed amid Key, 200 Public Square, and Terminal Tower... I actually think we have decent volume around East 6th to East 12th from St. Claire to Euclid. I think we're talking about the same area....."PS" = Public Square

^ A couple of 30+ story towers west of PS would really balance everything out and create a pretty damn impressive skyline.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Michelle responded to someone who questioned the height of the building...Her response: Okay, here's an answer on the height question. The architect says that the top of the mechanical penthouse's parapet is at 389 feet and 2 inches, on the current plans. The project team revised the zoning approval late last year to allow for a maximum building height of 396 feet and 6 inches, giving plenty of wiggle room for mechanicals. The Board of Zoning Appeals approved the modification in November.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
It’s looking like a long term play. They won’t have any staff left in Skylight by the end of the year. They’re also not renewing any of their current tenant’s leases at Landmark. This is being done to make room for staff moving over from Skylight.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
The latest I've heard: https://www.urbanohio.com/forum/index.php/topic,4266.msg883676.html#msg883676 Staying optimistic about this here. A S-W tower on the northwest quadrant would really complete Public Square. Unfortunately, I just heard some bad news that SW has dropped consideration of building a new HQ tower. That's all I got. Sorry. Not to beat a (possibly) dead horse... but is that really it KJP? We went from years of speculation about a SW Tower and a Medical Mutual building, and now they are both dead. Isn't SW out of space? Spoke to a SW worker today and asked about Valspar and space requirements. He said they are being very strategic with their real estate. They are picking and choosing which buildings (Valspar and SW) are more strategic for them and their existing distribution centers. He said nothing will happen until around 2020 but they are very quickly running out of space in R&D, Landmark and Skylight. It was a very interesting few minute conversation. What about their offices off of Jenny Freeway? Will they just keep adding more employees to that location? Yes, SW is adding more staff to that location. There will end up being close to 1,000 employees at Hinkley so that all of their Operations (Payroll, HR IT, HR / Financial Shared Services) are together.

^ How many passengers do you think used Frontier in 2017? How full are Frontier's planes? For the month of June, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation: Cleveland to Atlanta: 89 percent full Charlotte: 82 percent full Houston: 80 percent full San Diego: 79 percent full San Francisco: 73 percent full Los Angeles: 73 percent full http://www.cleveland.com/travel/index.ssf/2017/09/frontier_airlines_cuts_six_rou.html

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
Love this: Plug and Play founder Saeed Amidi, who lists early ties to PayPal, Lending Tree and DropBox among his organization's successes, envisions big things for Cleveland. He said Cleveland is ready to embrace 20 or more new startups a year as part of the program. "If we do that, I promise you this building will be humming and it will be too small," he said of Cuyahoga County's downtown Global Center for Health Innovation. "We will have to build another one."
