Cleveland requesting development proposals for city-owned parking lot A potential real estate development site in downtown Cleveland may get some action if the City of Cleveland has its way. The city-owned parking lot at Chester Avenue and East 13th Street near the Greyhound Bus Station is the subject of a request for proposals that the city’s Community Development Department posted on its website Monday, July 14. The city seeks a mixed-use development of the site with retail, residential or office uses and a parking garage that would hike dramatically the number of spaces available, according to the RFP. Weston expects to buy the Standard Building, near Public Square, in a deal set to close today.
