Cold-Pressed Juice Café Coming to Gordon Square By mid-June, the Gordon Square neighborhood will have its very own juice café, courtesy of Jodi Rae Santosuosso. Daily Press (6604 Detroit Ave.), located across the street from Luxe, will specialize in nutrition-focused cold-pressed juices and blended smoothies that utilize local and organic ingredients. For the past 10 years, Santosuosso lived in California, where she taught yoga and studied health and nutrition. She returned home to Cleveland to open the business. Cleveland Hopkins terminal to get $20 million renovation CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is planning $20 million in improvements to its terminal façade, the ticketing lobby and the lower-level baggage area. The airport is holding a public information session on the upgrades Thursday and is looking for input to help shape the final design. More love on Lorain: Humble Pie Baking Co. Inks Deal on Ohio City Pie Shop During a really busy week, Diane Sikorski might bake an astonishing 600 pies for adoring fans of her Humble Pie Baking Co. (586-354-5711). But the most surprising part of that equation is that all of those pies are being baked in her Avon Lake home. But not for long, she reports. Sikorski and her husband Steve just closed on a retail space in Ohio City. Fittingly, the building (3246 Lorain Ave.) was once home to the Lorain Fulton Bakery, which produced a variety of baked goods and breads. This past wknd I met a young couple (with a daughter) that moved to Gordon Square from Strongsville. If you don't live/visit here than it's hard for you to see the change that's happening. It's really a great thing.
