We need offensive playmakers. Heckert knows that and he will deliver! When was the last time Cleveland had a game breaker WR?

They're taking Richardson or Blackmon. Mark it down.

SOunds like this guy is content with NEO. With a 3.9 mil contract he can afford to live anywhere. BOOM! http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2012/01/cleveland_browns_draft_project_1.html If Pioli acceded to Crennel's wishes, the other stumbling block is whether Mangini would feel comfortable working under Pioli. Mangini still has another year on his Browns contract (at a reported $3.9 million) and is in no rush to take just any job. He and his family have grown to love northeast Ohio -- they have not relocated since his firing after 2010 -- and Mangini doesn't want to keep uprooting without some assurance of a longer run than a year or two.
  5. Me three on SOHO. Great food and the service was fantastic!

Content... Love my job, cost of living, and having most relatives w/in a hour drive of the CLE is nice.
  11. ^yup it's all about Sully being healthy in March.
  12. I just ordered this book for my sister. She's moving here in Jan. Awesome job Blinker!!
  13. A full season suspension for a fight is completely unprecedented. As for Holloway, Xavier has Gonzaga game coming up, there's no way they'd suspend him for that. Suspensions are done strategically, UC's just aren't as transparent since Big East play doesn't begin until after the new year. Xavier has a #8 ranking to play for, and important games coming up. Wasn't much of a fight. More like one sucker punch.....Yancy is a coward and should be suspended longer than 6 games. Yancy Gates was classless; I don't think "coward" is the right word, though. There was, however, some cowering during the fight, if "cowered" was the word you were looking for. Nope I used the right word.
  14. I live in Lakewood. I would definitely go shopping downtown over crocker if there were similar options. No doubt.

  16. Not too mention the people I know from Vegas and AC that are excited to come to CLE for a weekend to check out the new casino.
  17. Whoa... are you serious? This is Cleveland, there won't be high rollers in the casinos... Go see who goes to the casinos nearby now in Niagara, Detroit, Wheeling.... anything but high rollers Comparing Cleveland to Wheeling is flat out dumb.....Cleveland will definitely have more high rollers than you're expecting. Please explain... because I know plenty of people from Cleveland that travel to Wheeling to gamble and none of them are high rollers. Edit - never mind, this is a dumb argument and shouldn't clutter up the Tower City forum. Ok so that's the people you know! Me and my high rolling friends won't be flying to Vegas and AC as much now that we have a nice casino local.
  18. ^ Good question. Idk. Our casino is so much different than Wheeling, Moutaineer, Erie, etc...It will also be different from the other Ohio casino's....Being located right smack in the middle of the city SHOULD bode well for Cleveland.

  20. http://aol.sportingnews.com/mlb/feed/2011-01/albert-pujols/story/tony-larussa-calls-out-players-union-regarding-albert-pujols-contract-talks
  21. There's pressure from the union and sports agents to sign the largest possible contract available. I don't know what else to tell you. Have you ever discussed this with a professional athlete or an agent? Or are you basing your theory on what you think you know?
  22. It's business. Nothing more. Nothing less. It's not about winning, the fans, or any other BS fairytale stuff you want to believe.
  23. And you know it's ridiculous based on what?
  24. ^Yup pretty much spot on. Agents want their share as well.
