  1. That is the subjective break isn't it and a valid question. It seems to me that being a member of a team or supporter of that team fits well within the definition of tribe without any racial defamation. I guess I'm fully prepared to move on from Indians but would love to hang on to that thread of the past. Marketing, logo and the like would be a challenge. Anyway ... go tribe.
  2. For as long as I can remember, born in 61, this baseball club has often been referred to as The Tribe. Why not just stick with The Cleveland Tribe? Does anyone have a reason why Tribe wouldn't work?
  3. First, loving all the aerial shots @ASPhotoman has been posting in various threads. As for the stripes on Lumen I actually think they help tie it into the Keith building a little better but that's JMO.
  4. Maybe I'm missing something but isn't this construction figure of $272M for the entire headquarters and not just the tower on the Jacobs lot? If that figure includes construction on the super block I think expectations should be lowered... dramatically. Hopefully just the Jacob lot and I'm over thinking this.
  5. Just wow. Thanks @MayDay , you have a gift.
  6. ^ Welcome FeralChicken, I'll offer you a quick tip: If you're trying to reach out to another member an easy way to do it is by placing @ directly in front of their forum name. So for example: @buckeye1 there is a new member @FeralChicken trying to reach out to you. This should send notifications to both of you.

Yes I am getting a Main Page but in a different format. It now looks like the forum page or any other thread page for that matter. Is the original "home Page" no longer a thing? Now I'm curious; @MyTwoSense did your issue get fixed in a similar way?

Is any one else having an issue accessing the Main Page? I am currently getting the following message whenever I try: Sorry, there is a problem You do not have permission to view this page Error code: 2T187/3

Yes same here. I believe it started yesterday and yes it's fairly annoying.
  10. I know next to nothing about construction so asking anyone does an investigation into an incident like this shut down the entire site? If so are the workers just SOL until it picks back up or collect unemployment? It looks just like the parking structure was damaged so @MyTwoSense no units involved.
  11. Glad to read that no one was injured and can I just say I love Urban Ohio.
  12. Didn't we have a couple members here that worked for RTA? There truly is some useful info that comes across these pages.
  13. ^^ That was fun, made me giggle like a little kid.
  14. Are you saying the plan included shutting down Burke? It was asked of @Clefan98 and I'll ask it of you about your source: Do they work at SHW, work in real estate, work in government?
  15. They were unconfirmed sources and according to the stadium authority untrue but I believe we have ventured off topic. Here's an article on it: https://www.forbes.com/sites/thomasbaker/2018/08/23/las-vegas-raiders-stadium-jail-court/#52dee4f7597b From the article: Reached for comment, the Las Vegas Stadium Authority said in a statement: “There will NOT be a jail or a courthouse at the Las Vegas Raiders Stadium." Who knows, after all we have Area 51.
  16. I suspect the RFQ came from property owners that were approached by or reached out to SHW. I'm thinking Jacobs and or Weston but I'm sure @KJP will sort that out for us soon enough.
  17. I'm afraid you have some bad information. The rumor was a small holding facility for unruly fans but this was only a rumor and is not being built. The stadium has only been under construction for a little over two years and will be ready for the 2020 season.
  18. ^How instantly iconic would that be?
  19. 1.8 billion was the projected cost. 65,000 seats including lots of luxury boxes/seats and a dome; because tomorrows forecast high is 102.
  20. Not to pile on with the off topic stuff but I believe this is also true of Seattle, Baltimore and Nashville. That list looks suspect @Cleburger ?

Thanks @rockandroller , that was a great read and I would encourage others here to take the time to read it as well.
  22. @MayDay I would say you're correct and thanks for the pic.

^Felt that in Las Vegas. Fortunately looks like the epicenter was very remote. That was the first time I've experienced one and have to say that's some weird shi!. Both the sensation and the visuals are unnerving and just plain odd.
  24. I'm a little confused with this picture. It looks as if the Euclid side of the parking structure (foreground) is sloped as if it will be a ramp but shouldn't that be the ceiling of the first floor retail space?
  25. For what it's worth I disagreed with the school district when they didn't accept Stark's offer but I support the City on withholding the loan. Didn't Stark have to agree to these terms before the city voted on the ordinance?
