  1. http://www.examiner.com/country-music-in-detroit/toby-keith-s-i-love-this-bar-grill-lives-up-to-expectations For what it's worth. I'm skeptical, don't particularly enjoy country music, but I think it could be a fun atmosphere. Besides, a very important aspect to downtown thriving, much to the angst of most everyone on here, is for burbophiles to come downtown and spend their money. They have "Freedom Fries" for crying out loud. Hello Hamilton County Republican Party Convention
  2. At what point is downtown considered "revitalized"? I think it's doing pretty damn good now
  3. Those tilt shift effects are so hot right now
  4. From Norwood can see just the Tiara over the ridge of a hill. Looks gorgeous lit up
  5. didnt notice them

Going to out-do themselves with a new tallest building for themselves??
  9. Hey everyone, with all of the conference realignment talk and none of it ever positively including UC, my friends and I talked about a scenario in which the Big East and ACC joined into one large conference. Completely conceptual, but worth considering. I made a blog about it because I didn't know how else to present it. So here is the link and I'm interested to get some other people's thoughts on it. Thanks. www.bigeast-accfootball.blogspot.com
  10. you'll find more happiness if you convince yourselves that it is cool
  11. I'd love to see the route head up MLK and take Madison into Oakley and to also diverge up Montgomery Rd. Lots of population to serve there, and the Montgomery route would serve Xavier students then too As of now, there is only one bus route that I'm familiar with that goes from UC to Oakley and it take 45-60 to get there because it goes through Avondale/Norwood.... it's a horrendous ride
  12. Walking by the development, it appears that they haven't started any work on the building. Right now it is pretty much a blank concrete slab if memory serves correctly
  13. I'm guessing they "forgot" to ask for them until now
  14. Agreed, that is quite disappointing about the power lines. makes such a substantial difference in my opinion

Not offensive to me, but as a health care provider I am under oath to keep a person's medical history private by federal law. I think the same should apply to everyone. Especially when spreading a "rumor" as serious as that

I wouldn't classify this as appropriate or pertinent to the quality of the forum. Pretty lame post dude
  17. According to Jane Prendergast' Twitter feed (don't judge me), the "City wants $115k from owner of burned Smitty's in OTR after demolishing part of the building and stabilizing others. Would place lien. And Smitty's is officially called Smiths Toggery Shop Inc."
  18. Parking garage is open?
  19. Lol personally, aside from doing way too much with all the people, I think it's a pretty cool design
  20. It says they're purchasing the property from Holbrook
  21. Could have sworn I remember reading that the caps could hold buildings, either up to 4 stories or 15
  22. Anyone familiar with what this structure was supposed to be? Rail station?
  23. Spring/Summer 2010 update video. Rendering of the Moerlein Lager House. Looks awesome! Cincinnati Riverfront Park Spring/Summer 2010 Hard Hat Tour: WE'RE BRINGING IT TOGETHER!
  24. I have no idea how Senate's outdoor seating is allowed My buddy actually commented on that as we were walking up to it. I kinda laughed in agreement, but figured they must have checked it out. Anyhow, it's a great asset and the city would be foolish to give them any grief about it. They should instead hope it spurs a tradition for bars on the street to adopt the same outdoor seating.
