Cincinnati: Corryville: 2600 Vine Redevelopment
Not sure about the LA Fitness with the rec center a few blocks away and all, but the bowling alleys are really needed

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
very frustrating article. it's a journalist's responsibility to be informed and not put out garbage like that. TNR better shouldn't publish stuff like that if it wants to be taken seriously

it's too bad that the traffic lights are by span wire and not a horizontal pole. the less amount of overhead wires the better

I would think the rendering of the hotel will also be dependent on which hotel they end up having. I like the pressure that the board is putting on them to have the best design they can make, especially in regards to GABP

It would be really neat to ride it over the river on the Purple People Bridge to NOTL, especially during the summers with the musical events going on at the park (wednesday's i think?)

a little boxey i suppose, but the reflections will be cool. It would be sweet if they made roof-top decks on the apartments

Cincinnati: Downtown
Alright, so finally getting my last pictures up from Sunday when it so nice out. These are just from walking around downtown taking some randoms. My favorite, I think I don't think you can argue against 4th Street being downtown's most photogenic street Anyways, I feel like a serial picture poster after all these threads now

I think it would be cool to have a movie theater in there that showed new releases as well as old classics, I saw that at a place in SF. I disagree with the outlet malls, even though i did just today see an article where some guy in cleveland is trying to do just that in their downtown. But there is a large outlet mall currently under construction just north of cincinnati, so I'd like to think we have our fair share of 'em.- Cincinnati: Downtown: Mabley Place (formerly Tower Place Mall)
A movie theater would be so ideal. I hate going to newport for movies. A high end bowling alley could definitely work too, if the space is there- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
http://www.wlwt.com/money/18996181/detail.html "One stimulus project that appears to be moving forward, but on a separate track, is the streetcar proposal. Mayor Mark Mallory conveyed that the $12 million project is a priority for Cincinnati when he met with the Obama administration a few weeks ago. Mallory could hear any day now whether the project is a go. But what happens if the streetcar proposal makes it onto the November ballot and voters reject it? "The projects stands on its own," said Stiles. "Council has given us direction to move forward with it. We think it's a tremendous economic development project. We don't have to apologize to anybody for it.""- Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
Have there been any studies on the cost of a Mount Auburn Tunnel?- Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
i like the idea of using this new money for crime prevention and as a secondary tool for economic progress, but god knows people will bitch about using so-called "stimulus" money for crime prevention when they fail to explore the longevity of the plan- Spring Break '09 Cincinnati, USA Part 2 of 2
