Cincinnati's Best Blogs
Not only did they get my name wrong, they also have the URLs for several of the blogs incorrect. Blogger blogs don't have a "www" in them. It still goes to the same page, but it's technically incorrect. I e-mailed the Business Courier about the misspelling and I haven't heard back. Rando...I don't think there was an actual vote tally. I think every blog that was nominated was then judged by an unnamed panel of experts, and they were the ones who decided.

UrbanOhio Fantasy Football League
I might join. I stayed away for a couple of years, but I wouldn't mind another distraction. Are you pre-ranking and having the computer draft the teams or are you having a live draft?

^ Nah...I'm sure the materials are so cheap that it wouldn't be able to support a person's weight, unless he/she was really small. So keep an eye on the disgruntled children.

Cincinnati: Downtown - Parker Flats
According to CAGIS, everything north of Eastern Avenue is Mount Adams all the way down to Kemper Lane. Everything along the south side of Eastern Avenue all the way to the beginning of Ted Berry park (including the parking lot for the Boathouse and park) is Downtown.

Similar Message Boards For Other States/Cities?
We used to be part of a network of similar sites around the Midwest. I know there was one for Detroit, St. Louis, KC...maybe Des Moines. Does anybody remember those? A few are listed here. I don't know how many of these links are still active, though: http://www.urbanohio.com/Links.htm

Belisle sucks. Glad you enjoyed your trip to our ballpark. I did those mosaics too. Those are probably the coolest things in an otherwise average (but nice) ballpark.

How is (not Hardee's or Arby's) receiving compensation for attorney's fees in a court case in which they were found in the right a "windfall"?

Tiffin: Seneca County Courthouse Demolition
Sweet. Ink...do you subscribe to feeds? If you subscribe to the Blade feed and the local news feed for the Tiffin Advertiser-Tribune, you should be covered as far as this story goes. These two papers don't have feeds, but both the Findlay Courier and the Fostoria Review Times also cover the story.

Roundabouts and water features are the cool new things for larger subdivisions And clock towers, if you're lucky. That second photo is such a joke. If that's not blight, what is?

The building, at Beechmont and Roxbury avenues, will be 9,739 square feet and can be broken into as many as six tenant spaces. Spaces of between 1,400 and 9,300 square feet are being marketed at $16 to $18 per square foot. Parking will be in the rear of the building. Sales for the project are being handled by Colliers Turley Martin Tucker. Horizon Community Church is seeking to build the church and a 1,200-space surface parking lot on land from the former Indian Valley Golf Course. The approval allows for a zoning change from "H" Riverfront to "A-A CUP" Planned Residence. "H" Riverfront zoning does not allow churches. A more detailed development plan will be submitted later this year. The Anderson Township Zoning Commission will review those plans to make sure that they comply with the trustees' conditions of approval. The Ohio State University Buckeyes Football Discussion
LMAO! You know, the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer is only 2 easy payments of $49.90 (plus shipping and handling). This would have been quite a savings for the university.

New Albany: Developments and News
buildingcincinnati replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & Construction"Richard Lewis Travel" So he's a travel agent now? I hadn't seen him on TV in a while... :D The content of the photos definitely improve from beginning to end. There are some nice-looking streets in there and then something comes along that too cutesy-wootsy and it ruins it for me. As suburbs go, I always thought New Albany was pretty decent. Not too bad and not too great. They definitely take pride in aesthetics.
