  1. Hell yeah. I would also be ok with pushing the Haslams to Holmes, Knox, Licking, or Franklin counties
  2. Omg I wouldn’t want to drop down to a different tier! If the rest of the world finds out that we dropped a tier they may stop buying our paints and fabricated metals! I hope we don’t crumble completely like Seattle and San Diego when they lost their franchises!
  3. Football stadiums are not economic development tools. They cost money, and return no measurable dollars and cents benefit. The only reason to build them are because you would be sad if you didn’t have a football team. The only person who benefits from a new stadium, in terms of dollars, is Jimmy Haslam. Better a green zealot (lol so dumb) than a regular ol zealot
  5. It would be awesome if they moved out of the county and were no longer entirely our financial burden. edit: worst case is they move to the fringes of Cuyahoga and still get all of their funding from a countywide tax. That is why I am betting my (meager) 401k on that happening.
  6. I will give you one hundred million dollars if that is actual brick
  7. Heartwarming. Good to see confirmation that well placed dollars can influence the democratic process so transparently.
  8. Shocking that developers would suggest the city make more public subsidy available lol.

  11. This is the one that was previously slated to be demolished because it was unsalvageable right?
  12. I live next to an apartment building they own/manage they are trash.
  13. “Bringing some life into a building that hasn’t had any for a while”. You Krazy for that one Brian

They’re not mid level? They are 2 of the 15 best defensive players in the league! There are 360 active roster spots in the NBA. Top 15 is 95th percentile

Sorry, I was saying Mobley and Okoro are rated top 15 as players. Cavs are rated 2nd in team defense. Their defense has been consistent, they have just struggled to score lately.

Middle of the road defense???? Cavs are ranked second in the league and Mobley and Okoro are their best defenders by a pretty clear margin.

It is for sure, but his defense is nonexistent. He provided genuine scoring punch off the bench last year.

Disagree there. They can be underwhelming on offense (although improving lately) but by some metrics those are two of the top 15-ish defenders in the league. They’re most of the reason the Cavs have maintained an elite defensive rating despite offensive struggles.

Very weird game. Randle was -10 in his minutes despite putting up 36. Knicks went 17/33 from 3. Cavs are 27th in the league in 3 point defense. But the bench has been the real issue lately. Kevin Love is almost certainly washed, and Levert can’t seem to operate outside of the starting lineup.

    Ricky -26 in thirteen minutes!
  21. I remember when that group bought the site in 2012 and they had such exciting plans for the whole area, including the Lake Shore bank building across the street. Hard not to be pessimistic after this news. On one hand the neighborhood seems primed to benefit from spill over redevelopment from downtown/Asiatown; but you have to wonder how many more years a lot of prominent structures in this neighborhood have left.
  22. What a groundbreaking finding by a group of landlords!
  23. This is all very informative. Malls didn’t die because of online retail they died because people loiter more violently than they did 40 years ago.
  24. I don’t think any of these businesses will be relocating to residential neighborhoods.
