  1. Oops. Idk how to post photos from my iPhone most likely because of impatience.

And if the number of pro sports teams in NA were proportional by population to the premiere league, there would be 150 hockey teams.
  5. I think there are actually quite a few. Off the top of my head: Rockefeller Park, Zone Rec, and at least 2 in Old Brooklyn

The Cavs were second in the league in made 3s this year. They made over 11 per game.
  7. Not good to hear. I was just hit up by a group looking for something upscale in Cleveland and they asked about this new property. If there is loud music bothering guests, that's not a good sign. It was actually moreso shouting/fights/general revelry. I said Azure/Vault but I suppose there are plenty of bars at the Prospect intersection that could cause noise problems. I was actually kind of surprised at the douchey-ness of it all. It went on all night too. From @9 til 3.
  8. Stayed at the Kimpton last weekend. The building and rooms are wonderful. However the noise from (I'm assuming) Azure on the 9th street side was unbearable. We ended up having to leave in the middle of the night. I'm not sure if it's a case of the rooms being insufficiently sound-proofed or if the noise was just that obnoxious.

Dragic scares me a bit but it's hard to see their offense producing enough to take more than a game from us (if they can actually beat the ex-Bobcats).

Looks like Curry out at least 2 weeks with an MCL sprain

^^Fair enough. I'll put more stock in what he's done over the course of the past 7 seasons, and the Cavs' proven record of ball movement and their 3rd ranked offense. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So 1 game defines a player?

The "coulda, shoulda, woulda" argument doesn't do much for me. They didn't win Game 4 and the rest was history. If Love, Kyrie and LeBron have solid and consistent scoring contributions it opens the entire offense and they have a far better chance at winning at title than if Kevin is shooting 3 of 15. Not quite sure how that doesn't make sense. He only had 1 poor shooting game in the series.

Now you're missing my point. Kyrie or LeBron begin to play 1 on 5 because Love gets cold too often. The offense relies on him being able to score not just to rebound. The offense isn't designed to make him another TT. He was wide open at times last night and couldn't make anything. That's why SVG was able to shut off the lanes and leave Love open if he wasn't under the basket. That's why Kyrie and LeBron began to play iso ball. Love needs to be a consistent scorer or there's no reason to believe the Cavs can win a championship. Love had a TS% of .56, which was basically the same as Chris Bosh, Lamarcus Aldrige, and Anthony Davis. And the Cavs were 3rd in the league in assists/game despite being 28th in the league in pace. So I don't think any of this is true.

Love's post play on offense collapsed the entire Piston's D. He also showed that he's one of the best defensive rebounders in the game. He had a tough shooting night yesterday but I thought he was awesome the whole series.
  16. Yeah, I go up there almost every summer and the lake access is awesome. No development cuts it off for miles around the center(re) city. All of the towers downtown are further inland.
  17. The skyscrapers have replaced very little historic stock. Most were built on former industrial land north of the main residential neighborhoods. I also don't understand the hate for the design. I guess you could say it's too repetitive, but I think it looks nice and gives Toronto a "look".
  18. Looks like Chinese foreign investment counted for 14% of all Toronto real estate transactions last year, or $9 billion Canadian. It was 33% and $12 billion in Vancouver! Also, I love Toronto, but I don't think that it's the #1 choice for every person on earth. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-03-23/chinese-buy-one-third-of-vancouver-homes-national-bank-estimate
  19. Extra! Extra! Trish in accounting says Browns release Manziel!
  20. There's nothing really like what Mi Pueblo was, but Villa y Zapata is definitely satisfying and not quite as generic as pretty much all the other Mexican places.
  21. That's flawed logic. Of course they do. More talented players tend to rise to the top of the draft. However, it could just as easily be said that there are more quarterbacks not drafted first who hit. Players aren't more talented because of where they're drafted. If the Browns draft Wentz 2nd it doesn't make him any more likely to be a good QB. Virtually every media outlet is saying Wentz is the best QB to draft. Are all these people wrong? I have no idea. If the Browns think one of these quarterbacks is worth the pick they should take him. I'm simply saying that taking somebody higher doesn't make them a better player. The first quarterback taken will succeed more often because he's generally more talented. But reaching for a QB and taking them higher in the draft doesn't magically make them more likely to succeed.

I went to the game and by the 4th quarter the crowd was audibly groaning each time Love passed up a shot. It must have happened 4 or 5 times. Very odd.

I would rather have Love because his shooting/rebounding SHOULD be perfect complements to Ky/LBJ, but it should be noted Griffin is the best passing big in the league (unless Lebron is counted as a 4). Edit: Oooh forgot about Dray
  25. There are some bland areas, but that's true of any city. Baltimore has way more than Mt. Vernon and downtown. Bolton Hill, Fell's Point, Canton, Charles Village, Station North, Roland Park, the list is extensive and really more impressive (architecturally and fabric-wise) than anything we have in Ohio.
