^I agree that Ibaka would be more valuable on this current Heat team. But I also think that the Javale McGees and Serge Ibakas of the league tend to be overrated because of their style of play. It's more fun to watch a player block a shot into the stands than it is to watch a player methodically drain 18-footers. But I would generally take an elite offensive talent over an elite defensive talent.

Blocks are fine, but they're not more valuable than basketball points. Bosh is kind of lost in the shuffle in Miami, but he was a top ten scorer and rebounder in the four years before he joined the Heat. That's elite level production. Ok, I've had enough of defending one of my least favorite basketball players now.

Ibaka probably fits in better on the Thunder than Bosh does on the Heat, but all things being equal, Bosh is a much better player. If you moved Ibaka over to Toronto, I doubt he goes for 24 and 10.

My ideal scenario would be: Celtics beat Heat in six, Garnett breaks his thumbs in freak chest-thumping incident, Spurs sweep Celtics, Cavs draft MKG and Perry Jones.

^Especially with tax credits in play. I sometimes think people think getting tax credits means the "government" rolls a wheelbarrow full of money up to your door and you use that money to buy hammers and drywall and start building. Getting tax credits is only the beginning of the process. The tax credits themselves must be marketed and purchase agreements for said tax credits executed before anything can start.

It's in Stockyards, at W. 54th and Storer. The Stockyard Redevelopment Organization (RIP) assisted with much of the grant writing, prison muscle (via Court Community Service), and organizing to get the mural painted and seeds and soil purchased, garden planted, etc. The garden has actually been there for a few years.

^The Saints' owner bought the Hornets recently. I don't know why everybody thinks that the lottery is fixed. I think it has something to do with not understanding probabilities. If it was fixed, why stick John Wall in DC, Blake Griffin on the Clippers, or Derrick Rose in Chica......wait a minute.

^I went a couple of weeks ago. It's a great concept, great menu, great location, and great patio, but they have some serious kinks to work out. Service was absolutely awful. I actually don't have much of a problem with long waits, but the disorganization was ridiculous. Cold food, missing drinks, and half hour spaces between server visits is unacceptable. However, the concept, et al. were so fantastic that I'll probably give it another shot.

It's disingenuous to say that the Indians have had more success over the past 20 years than the Cavs and Browns. It would be more accurate to say that the Indians were successful 15 years ago. They have been terrible for the past 11 years, tallying exactly as many playoff appearances as the Browns, and obviously being much less successful than the Cavs. The Browns will always draw, which is annoying, but the Indians will live and die by their success on the field. Being in first place in May doesn't mean sh!t. It happens in every city too. Toronto finished with the same record as the Indians, operate in a market that's at least double the size, and finished behind us in attendance. Why? Because they don't go to the post season.

I think Cleveland has a very clearly defined downtown. River, lake, freeway.

That would take increased CDBG allocation from Cimperman to St. Clair-Superior.
