Annnapolis Tour!!
I used to live at 5 Cornhill, right where the eleventh picture was! Annapolis can be a really lovely town, but it is very touristy. It can be a bit much to take when you're a nineteen year old college student.

Cleveland: Downtown Aquarium
I just looked at the site for the Pittsburgh aquarium and it says it's 40,000 square feet, and that's a pretty good aquarium. Plus, ours will be bigger, so that means that we are a better city.

Urban Denver - Cherry Creek Area
Something about Denver gives me the creeps. Do they have anything besides chain stores there?

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
At least Mr. Kotz doesn't hold a grudge about losing his job here. Also, I didn't realize that Cleveland was so flush with cash.

"I'm glad the county is thinking about leaving." Probably moving to Geauga or Medina County.

Cleveland: Rockometer Proposal
How the hell did this project resurrect itself? How did this story get in a major American newspaper? Why would we build a Carrie Cerino's on the lakefront?

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I agree I think the building looks great and would be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Boston, Mass.
I didn't know Boston had a back bay AND a bay back! Also, I would never vote for Michlewitz.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
The whole Medical Mart process has been like a showcase for dysfunction at every level of politics, journalism, and business. I'd like to think that when the torch is finally passed from this current generation of vain "leaders" to a new generation, projects like this won't turn so inevitably farcical. So, I think I agree with you GP.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Oh, so the county will receive some of the profits generated from the medical mart and MMPI will definitely pay for some of the construction. I guess I haven't been following this closely enough, thanks for the correction.

"Who's got the juice in that town?" Kennedy wondered, granting exceptions for Hagan and Cleveland Clinic President and Chief Executive Toby Cosgrove. "We would not invest there if it weren't for Tim Hagan. "Who else could get us to come there?" he said. "Nobody's doing business in Cleveland." Man, I was pretty good with just hating FC and the PD in this whole scenario, but Kennedy made himself sound like a real d!ck. Yeah, it must be tough to do business in a town where they agree to build you a $450 million facility that you will receive all of the profits from. I really want this thing to get built on the mall and soon but I feel like we got nobody to cheer for.

Dayton: Lower South Park/Older South Park
A lot of that worker housing reminds me of the residential buildings in the Stockyard area of Cleveland. Stockyard is definitely post-streetcar, however.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Why is it always made to seem like the mall site is so far away from downtown amenities like restaurants, public transportation, etc. The mall site is practically on public square. You could throw a baseball from there and hit the Tower City 11.

Alliance, Ohio
Hats off to sears for maintaining a store in a small-town CBD.

Cleveland: Rockometer Proposal
I don't think it's a case of being "overly selective choosers". One of his selling points is a hot-grilled salad served with rock n' roll attitude. This project would be an embarrassment located in such a prominent area.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
It does seem odd that the plain dealer didn't have nearly as much of a problem with the GCP choosing the TC site. I don't remember anything like the scrutiny they have reserved for the Mall location.

"Like so many things here in Cleveland. That loop consists of * OLD * White * Men * Over 50 This is why our region does not appear to have broad appeal." My point being that if we are going to talk about the old boy network in regard to the Medical Mart, it's worth pointing out that Mr. Nance, Mr. Jackson, and Mr. Lawson-Jones are all African American. Some would consider them to be fairly important figures in the whole process.

Yes, old white males like fred nance.

Cleveland: Rockometer Proposal
To paraphrase the principal in Billy Madison: "Mr. Axelrod, what you just said is the most insanely idiotic thing I have ever heard. Everyone here is now stupider for having heard it. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul."
