Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
So long as they dont do a shitbanger job on the planters, station buildings, and public art that runs down the middle and along the sides, it gives it permance. We just havent been given any renderings of this however.....

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I wonder what they deem as unstable? Is it under no circumstances can this land be built on? or is it We can build some things under some limited conditions on this land? There used to be buildings there back when it was irishtown. Iristown bend condos ~seem~ to have simmilar soil conditions. The area near there is full of freshwater springs, so they had to put huge concrete footers there just to keep a not so big building stable. I'd say CMHA should sell the land between riverbed and franklin to private developers, and limit the constuction scale to units simmilar in scale to irshtown bend condos and keep them spaced out enough too keep it woodsy and hopefuly prevent instability too. Just because the public finds impossiblites to build there, dosent mean greedy developers wont find a way

Cleveland: Prospect Place, Joshua Hall, & Mueller Lofts
I've been to the muller lofts website in the past. Some of the condos got some really wierd setups but all in all seems like it would be a neat place to live. Their price structure on the units are such that you aren't paying huge cash for seemingly no square feet, like alot of the towntown condos. If I had the money hell i'd live there. http://www.muellercondominiums.com/

Cleveland: Stonebridge Phase 5
I find it interesting that they said all the 1 bedroom units are sold out. I wonder if future developers or developments in the works will take this a indirect hint to make more 1 bedroom units available.

Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
I dont know how exactly they would join main classroom and UC into one complex, on the first floor. First floor is the plaza level, that level only has stairwells and isolated lecture halls on main classroom.

Cleveland: Detroit-Superior Lofts
I ~think~ osborne apartments is senior aimed housing, and there is the one in chinatown that is aimed at old asians. Other than that, I cant think of any others. Anyhoo, go district park!! I hope it pulls together, I like the idea of buildings creeping up and down different elevations on hillsides

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
Now with busses like this, its just an overly expensive road repaving. People will go back on this seeing how RTA gave people a raw deal for a huge wad of cash, and in the future will not support ANY of RTA's future proposed projects.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
This development is what duck island people are bitching about? It blocks raildroad noise ++, its not as tall as the one in ohio city and better able to blend in. On another note nobody lives in duck island really, the whines of a couple of households on the street should be no concern. If anything it acutally IMPROVES duck island, by actually putting residents there. Most of duck island is vacant land

Cincinnati: Abandoned and vacant buildings discussion
There should be a way for cities to oughtright seize properties somehow when the slumlords do this type of thing. Decree something like urban renewal, sell it off to someone else give that person X amount of time to get it good again or they just raze the property.

Cleveland: Innerbelt News
I was looking at what http://www.innerbelt.org/June9Advcommtg.ppt slide 14, says its removed from further consideration. Looks like the southren allignment wont be happening, unless we get more powers than odot?

It would be nice to see KJP's version, but his stuff allways seem to fall on deaf ears :(. At least they are aiming to shrink that interchange

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
Just saw it on news again, paid a bit better attention this time around. It looks to be at least a 2 story bowling alley. Bowling down below, with a lounge area with billards and a bar up lofted up top over some of the lanes

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
I saw a brief newsbit on local channel 3 news this evening on the bowling alley. It does look very much like Jullians/Lucky Strike lanes/Dave and Busters type of a place. Bowling is supposed to be cheap drunkard fun and something like kingpin movie, not upscale and expensive. I wonder what this will do to ambassador lanes though?

Cleveland: Population Trends
I like the idea of reforestification near urban streams. But after all these years of being built up and over, and with a possible lack of good mapping system back in the old days, would we be able to find these old streams? There would also be the logistics of opening thre creeks that became sewer lines underneath roads. I also disagree with morrisons point on infill. Infill is good in alot of areas, its filling up the areas that should have something there ,to make a more cohesive vibrant neighborhood. Can we honestly say infill in the tremont area is bad?

Your Daily Commute
I got to take a car from my home in mentor. Laketran dosent provide commuter busses back from cleveland state for my evening classes. To ride rta back I would have to get dropped off at shoregate, and then get a ride from someone else

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
^^ er i ment that they are mainly a maratime supply store, and it would make more sense to be located closer to where the boats are. Old river channel allready has the great lakes towing there and the part of the port authority there, it seems to make more sense near there.
-
Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Samsel supply should have moved some time ago, that particular area of the flats dosent actualy get boats per say. Something near the old river channel would probably be a better move. With the wolstein project completeion, and hopefuly enough demand in the area, might be the push to move them out. That building would be an excellent site for loft conversion, its right near a waterfront line stop too
