Cleveland: Random Development and News
Sea gulls is nice. The dead ones arent. The smell that is around there isnt.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
I'm a bad speller what can I say? Indy - Ft. Wayne - Toledo - Detroit line. The idea is that Indy(growing?) is a good sized metro and so is Detroit. Ft. Wayne is a stop because its en-route (much like dayton) and perhaps isnt more than 2 trains daily stoping there. Toldedo is a stop so you can transfer from there to detroit, chicago, or cleveland.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
Yeah that map sums it up. Perhaps line for St. Louis - Innapolis - Columbus - Pittsburgh. Another line for Innapolis-Ft Wayne-Toledo-Detroit. I don't know if a line from cincinatti to DC would work through west virginia

Cleveland Design Competition
I would have liked to see some millionaire rowhouses cut into the bottom of the hill along carter road. Something like the really nice millionaire rowhouses in chicago. Or something very very simple and doable, like make a staircase starting at franklin before it curves around, down to carter road.

Cleveland: Unique Buildings for Sale??
W 11th building is kinda funky cool. Unique for sale, offhand I can think of there is the triangle shaped building prospect and bolivar, and the old cadillac building on chester and E 30th. There are also myriads of warehouse buildings for sale in the cleveland area, any of KJP's lnks should assist you.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
Good thing they, rather than someone else, grabbed up that lot. Just looking on a map made it a logical spot to develop. With Zaremba in control of the land, it hopefully stops a new surface lot from popping up there; and when developed, create a more unified streetscape (not parking lot street).

Cleveland: Innerbelt News
I just had another thought about this design. Since it is inevidable that the shoreway will be eliminated, they shouldnt be making that elaborate crossover and transfer to the N & S marginal roads at dead mans curve.

Cleveland: Innerbelt News
Looks like the un-took the furniture building on superior and the flatiron building hauser is fighting for. Innerchange still looks like complex shit. Minamly they should have exits in the trench on superior, chester, and carnegie. The service roads or whatever they are called, on the trech are a bad idea to begin with; but even the execution is poorly done, bring them all the way to the highway edge to maxamize redevelpable land, and on certain road segments they seem needlessly placed, and a long ramp could have the same function.

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
I hope this motivates the neighbor city club to make it orginal too. That CVs facade isnt making for a good "important building" look.

Cleveland: Steelyard Commons
Home deopot sign/roof entrance eludes to an electric furnace, but that seems to be just from what I have seen so far.

Video of Towers Collapsing
I suppose I was the winner for that school year. I didnt hear of any of the othe physics classes having a bridge surpassing it. No pictures of it either. I didnt think anything special of it when I first made it, I was hoping at the time it could get something like 20 lbs just to get an A. When it finnaly decided to collapse, it was catastrophic failure under the weights. Not much left afterwards.

Video of Towers Collapsing
I did this type of stuff in high school. They gave us only 15 balsa wood sticks to work with to make a bridge with. Mine held up 115 lbs before it collapsed.

Cleveland housing tax abatement
Allthough I am inclined to say yes about tax abatements for rehabs, I would say no to them. You end up getting mired in questions of what constitutes re-habbing, repairing, adding, and improvements to a structure. Plus I would think this would add a surge of inexperienced, half-assed, re-habbing, real estate flippers to the cleveland housing market. It would create a glutload of housing with questionable workmanship.

So let's define downtown Cleveland in our own words!
Downtown has alot of notations to me. I see downtown as a collection of neighborhoods in the middle of the city. But I also call certain section of this collection of neighborhoods in the middle of the city, downtown. Anyhoo.. Downtown- "the container" The river to the lake to the innerbelt. Downtown "place" w 9th to e 14th, bound the by lake and the innerbelt. Midtown - innerbelt to E 105, cedar to the south, hough to the north. Uptown E 105 to cleveland city line, cedar to the south, wade park ave. to the north.

Cars & Vehicles Discussion (History, etc)
The cab only ones arent that big really. 3 together is a little bit shorter than a truck with trailer.

Cars & Vehicles Discussion (History, etc)
I think they are called semi-trains or land trains or something like that. They use them up in remote areas of canada.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower at Erieview & Galleria Renovation
That mall is less and less a mall each year. More like an unusual office space nowadays

Cleveland Design Competition
Hotel bruce did something awhile back. They came up with some buildings on it, where the old hovels used to be. Terraced gardens along the hillside. I cant remember exactly how it looked, but I remember thinking it was a good idea. http://www.hotelbruce.com/01_03/featurewell_w_village.php

Good, it was a terrible idea on many levels.
