  1. That would be great. Someone had told me redoing Fulton would have to come first.
  2. I did see it in person and had posted a photo here, but I'll look again. Lighting is everything. Does anyone know if a similar porch is planned for the Sanford House?
  3. Is the parking garage the same owner as the apartment building?.
  4. I asked someone at the S-W store recently about their closing and she just said she knows nothing and "corporate" handles it....
  5. Any idea when the reconstruction of Franklin Circle ( the actual circle) is scheduled to begin? Does it have to wait for the reconstruction of the entire stretch of Fulton Road north of Lorain?
  6. Looks charcoal gray to me, and I'm an architectural color consultant.
  7. The S-W idea for for Prospect is fine and dandy but we need something substantial for Public Square! This parking lot in an ultra-prime location is a BIG DISGRACE!
  8. Maybe your mind subconsciously is going back 20 years or more? Prospect had made a complete turnaround, with lots of nice restaurants and the shops and hotel at Fifth Street Arcades, the County building , etc. It doesn't have other large office buildings yet but I think it's certainly ripe for them.
  9. The Stanley Block was much more important historically.
  10. What time is this meeting tomorrow? Cleveland City Hall?
  11. Endgame for waiting for something to happen or endgame for any hope of something happening?
  12. Thank you. I haven't absorbed that name yet, let alone any acronym for it.
  13. RMF = ???
  14. I think we can all now agree on something: no groundbreaking in August and not even one demolition on Prospect!
  15. Again, what's the story with the ugly parking garage (which was obviously built for something else) next to the new luxury apartments on Random Road? I had assumed it would be renovated to go with the apartments, but I now see it is not part project and really distracts.
  16. So when might the businesses in the strip, such as Sherwin-Williams, close and demolition begin?
  17. They were doing about two floors a week but it's slowed down.
  18. I had assumed the shabby parking garage on Random would be beautified as the garage for the tenants of Quattro, but now I see the new tenants have been moving into these luxury apartments, and there's still ugliness right next door. Admittedly, I haven't been following this particular forum for a while; are there plans for the monstrosity next Door?
  19. The Market Square people put up a great sign for all to see. That's exactly what I'd like to see everywhere when developments are in the offing! Now, I hope the shopping strip gets cleared out soon....
  20. Abbey Avenue and West 19th. Long term construction. Apts?
  21. New CIM dormitory going up on Hazel Drive in University Circle.;
  22. Apartment house proposal Lorain Avenue and West 28th Street. Still parking lot.
  23. I'm a pretty strict preservationist and I'm perfectly happy with losing 310 if it would lead right to NuCLEus going up(ASAP). The bldg. that houses Record Rendezvous I'd have a lot of qualms about, but I'd sure like to see it fixed up.
  24. Thanks, though maybe at this point the complex should be known by its new name.
  25. Please define "JHB." It's not exactly a household-word acronym, bud. I've long advocated Apple, OfficeMax, and Barnes & Noble for downtown Cleveland. The time is ripe; not five years ago but I think they can do well now (in the right spot, of course).
