  1. $500 Billion? That has to be a typo!
  2. And hundreds of millions in new PSL's......But I agree!!!!!!
  3. The infrastrucutre to the east of the exisiting terminal, where the blue and red lots are currently located, is being demolished and will remain open space after phase 1. I wonder if that will be used to construct a new concourse in phase 2.
  4. The creations of long walkways to get to the concourses almost definately assures that a phase 2 will happen sooner rather than later. I can't see the walkways as being a long term solution.
  5. Nice and creative way to get 17k people down there on a Thursday night in April. The stadium needs some TLC. I get the sense that the amount of routine maintenance has declined. This pic was taken about 30 min before Journey took the stage.
  6. What I still want to know is if a new PSL will need to be purchased if the current stadium goes through a full renovation? I dont think so........ The Brook Park option will require new PSL's. If its 5k per seat on average at 65k seats, 300 mil plus would be generated. That (along with $100 parking) is why Brook Park is prefererd by ownership.
  7. Does anybody know what the crain stationed on Euclid is being utillized for? Signage?
  8. I agree. I just think this is how they get around the Modell Law.
  9. I get the feeling that Cleveland and Brookpark will do another land swap like what happened with NASA and the IX Center.
  10. Fluff!!!! Im sure that the contract will have many contingencies!
  11. Im still against a move from the lake. But, if this happens then any tax dollars used should have strings attached to it which would mandate the additional developement.
  12. This woud be nice: https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/news/5-us-airports-with-the-potential-to-become-legacy-airline-hubs/ar-AA1tRCbA?ocid=BingNewsVerp
  13. Season ticket holders...start saving up. We are going to be paying for the majority this...as we should. It going to be steep. Be prepared.
  14. The value of the Browns will spike after a new facility is built. Haslem is 70. Ownership wants this done sooner rather than later. Perhaps tht team will be worth 10 bil once the doom is finished. Do you see where I am going with this?
  15. Can you provide any info about the plans for the parking garage?
  16. Not impressed with Allegiant Field. But, it was nice that it was only a 15 min walk to the strip. I am more convinced the new stadium needs to stay downtown.
  17. I know of at least three groups of people that are flying out of Pittsburgh to get to Vegas for the Browns game this weekend. I guess the flights are much cheaper and more convenient than Cle. Looks like there is a need of more service in Cle if people are willing to make a 3-4 hour round trip to fly out of Pit.
  18. Hasawai update from 9-13, during a rock music festival in downtown. Bands were playing outdoors and at most bars/restaurants.
  19. My preference at this point is to renovate the current stadium, but for the fact that the team would have to play elsewhere for a couple of years. I dont want to travel to Columbus and watch in a college stadium. My back hurts just thinking about those bleachers. If this happens, "could" football be played in Progressive Field if neccessary? I think I remeber that the park was orignally desinged and configured to accomodate a footbal field. Obviously, Brook Park and Burke options would solve this issue.
  20. 2 Billion Airport Master plan 1.2 Billion Stadium Renovation (Possibly 2.4 Bil for dome) 700 Million New Courthouse 100 Million Riverfron Plan First Phase (Total project 3.5 Bil) 500 Million Lakefron Plan (Minimum) ____________ $4.5 Billion (probably a conservative number) Wow!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I have been to Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, a couple of times on days in July when there wasnt a baseball game and it wasnt busy at all. This park is located abpuot 12 miles outisde of dowtown Atlanta.
