Bah! I meant to say 1963 myself, how'd I type '68?

I believe that the Brent Spence Bridge has always been a double-deck bridge since it opened in 1968. However, each deck originally only had three lanes with shoulders, and in 1986, the lane configuration was changed to accomodate 4 lanes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brent_Spence_Bridge Of course, "Darryl Parks" and "facts" are words that don't go too well together...
